'Selling Sunset' Star Christine Quinn's Husband Christian Dumontet Arrested for Assault With a Deadly Weapon

ET confirmed that the 'Selling Sunset' star's husband, Christian Dumontet, was arrested Tuesday in Los Angeles.

ET can confirm that Christine Quinn's husband has been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department tells ET, officers from the Hollywood Division responded to the family's residence for a domestic incident. The spokesperson said Christine and her husband, Christian Richard Dumontet, were involved in a domestic dispute when it's alleged he threw a bag containing a glass bottle at her and missed but hit the couple's 2-year-old son causing injury. The child was treated by paramedics and later transported to the hospital for further treatment.

ET had learned Christine rode in the ambulance with her son and apparently she applied for a restraining order against Christian to protect her and her son. A source close to Christine calls the situation "devastatingly raw."

Christian was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Jail records, Christian was arrested Tuesday at around 2 p.m. and booked nearly four hours later by the Los Angeles Police Department.

As of this story's publishing, the 45-year-old remains in custody on $30,000 bond.

ET has reached out to the former Selling Sunset star's rep for comment.

Page Six was first to report the arrest and the details behind it. Photos show Christian handcuffed and being taken out of his home barefoot and wearing glasses and a bathrobe.

Christine and Christian, a businessman, share a 2-year-old son named after his father. The couple got married in 2019, and their wedding was turned into a quasi-Netflix special as it coincided with season 3 of Selling Sunset. The gothic-style soiree (Christine wore a black wedding dress) was extremely over the top, including a pair of black swans.

The real estate agent quit the hit Netflix show after ultimately parting ways with The Oppenheim Group, the Hollywood-based, female-dominated real estate firm at the center of the series that later spawned Selling the OC. Christine later signed with IMG Models.

Throughout Christine's Selling Sunset tenure, she was known for stirring up her fair share of drama, first with Chrishell Stause and Heather Rae Young, and then with Emma Hernan. On season 5 of Selling SunsetEmma claimed that Christine offered a client $5,000 to stop working with her, which the latter woman has denied.

On the show's May 2022 reunion special, Jason Oppenheim said, "Right now, there's not a place for [Christine] at the Oppenheim Group."
