The former NFL star who inspired the Oscar-nominated film <a href="https://www.etonline.com/blind-side-star-quinton-aaron-shows-off-97-pound-weight-loss-179737" rel="" target="_blank" title="The Blind Side"><em>The Blind Side</em></a>&nbsp;had originally&nbsp;filed legal documents in August requesting the termination&nbsp;after alleging&nbsp;Leigh Anne Tuohy and Sean Tuohy lied about adopting him and tricked him into making them his conservators shortly after he turned 18.</p>

<p>Oher, whose story was first documented in Michael Lewis' 2006 bestselling book of the same name, claimed the Tuohys made millions off his name while he never received a dime, after the film -- starring&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/sandra-bullock" rel="" target="_blank" title="Sandra Bullock">Sandra Bullock</a>,&nbsp;Quinton Aaron, Jae Head, Tim McGraw, Lily Collins and Kathy Bates -- earned more than $300 million at the box office. The book and film are centered around the Tuohy family taking in Oher and helping transform his life on and off the field.</p>

<h3>September 2006 -- <em>The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game</em> hits bookstores</h3>

<p>Michael Lewis -- the author behind hits like <em>Moneyball</em>, <em>The Big Short</em> and many other bestselling books -- teases the book on his <a href="https://www.michaellewiswrites.com/#the-blind-side" rel="" target="_blank">personal website</a> this way:</p>

<p>"When we first meet him, Michael Oher is one of thirteen children by a mother addicted to crack; he does not know his real name, his father, his birthday, or how to read and write. He takes up football, and school, after a rich, white, Evangelical family plucks him from the streets. <p>By the time the book is published, Oher had earned freshman All-America honors as a standout offensive tackle with the Ed Orgeron-led Ole Miss football team. He'd go on to graduate with a degree in criminal justice before he was selected with the 23rd overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens in April 2009.</p>

<p>Oher, the Tuohys and his tutor -- Miss Sue (portrayed in the film by Kathy Bates) -- were with him onstage at the NFL Draft in New York City, where he held his No. 1 Ravens jersey. Oher, who made the Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie team,&nbsp;would go on to win a Super Bowl ring after the Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers, 34-31, in Super Bowl XLVII. He started at right tackle. He'd also appear in Super Bowl 50 as a starting left tackle (covering "the blind side") with the Carolina Panthers, who lost to the Denver Broncos, 24-10.</p>

<p>Oher played eight seasons in the NFL and reportedly earn nearly $40 million over his illustrious career.</p>

<h3>November 2009 -- <em>The Blind Side</em> hits theaters&nbsp;</h3>

<p>The film, directed and written by John Lee Hancock, earned critical acclaim and earned two Academy Award nominations for Best Picture and Best Actress. Sandra Bullock scored the Best Actress win for her portrayal of&nbsp;Leigh Anne Tuohy. The film would go on to earn more than $300 million at the box office.</p>

<p>Interestingly enough, Bullock wasn't the first actress in mind when the film was in the early stages of development. Leigh Anne reportedly said the part was written for one Julia Roberts, who ultimately had to back out of the role due to a scheduling conflict.</p>

<p>Bullock reportedly turned down the role but changed her mind after meeting with the Tuohys. Leigh Anne has previously spoken about how much work Bullock put into nailing the portrayal.</p>

<p>"I mean, she wore my same makeup, fingernail polish, my clothing," Leigh Anne said in a <a href="https://www.deseret.com/faith/2020/1/30/21079420/leigh-anne-tuohy-the-blind-side-michael-oher-ed-orgeron-dabo-swinney-sandra-bullock-utah-rootstech" rel="" target="_blank">2020 interview</a>. "She would go through my stuff. I was like, 'Sandy, no one knows this, get over it.' But she's a perfectionist. When the movie was over the kids were like ... 'There's two of them running around.' She nailed it that much."</p>

<p>Bullock also scored a Golden Globe and SAG Award for her portrayal of Leigh Anne.</p>

<h3>February 2012 -- Oher Publishes His Memoir</h3>

<p><em>I Beat the Odds: From Homeless, to The Blind Side and Beyond&nbsp;</em>hit bookstores in February 2012. In his memoir, Oher famously recounted how he did not like how he was portrayed in the film.</p>

<p>"While the movie did a great job of raising awareness about teens in foster care who might succeed if given a loving family and a chance, it did not do a good job of accurately painting&nbsp;<em>my life</em>," he wrote. "Situations get exaggerated for the sake of Hollywood. I understood that when I heard a movie was being made, but it’s a strange process to live through: to suddenly lose control of your own story and to have your story written and nearly completed before you were approached for an interview."</p>

<p>He added, "I felt like [<em>The Blind Side</em>] portrayed me as dumb instead of as a kid who had never had consistent academic instruction and ended up thriving once he got it.&nbsp;Quinton Aaron did a great job acting the part, but I could not figure out why the director chose to show me as someone who had to be taught the game of football. Whether it was S.J. moving around ketchup bottles or Leigh Anne explaining to me what blocking is about, I watched those scenes thinking, 'No, that’s not me at all! I've been studying -- really studying -- the game since I was a kid!'"</p>

<p>Oher went on to say that <em>The Blind Side</em>&nbsp;"took away the hard work and dedication I had from a child," like being the first one in, last one out in the locker room. He also disliked being portrayed as not knowing how to read, even though, he says, he was doing plays in front of the school in the second grade.</p>

<p>Oher married Tiffany Roy <a href="https://www.etonline.com/michael-oher-who-inspired-the-blind-side-marries-longtime-girlfriend-tiffany-roy-194151" rel="" target="_blank">after 17 years together</a>.&nbsp;Oher shared a photo from their wedding on his Instagram, calling the affair the "best single weekend" he's ever been a part of.</p>

<p>"Filled with joy, can’t believe people took their time and came to celebrate! My beautiful wife, I love you so much, thank you for blessing me with our family!" Oher wrote, alongside a photo of him&nbsp;and Roy at the altar. "Easily the best single weekend I’ve ever been apart of. Not being from the area everyone came to was even more special. I won’t be able to tell everyone thank you, if I saw you this weekend, thank you! I’m complete, let’s keep trending upward! ❤️❤️❤️."</p>

<p>The couple's four children were also in&nbsp;attendance -- their son, MJ, daughters, Kierstin and Naivi -- with Roy sharing that their son, Kobi, walked her down the aisle to Beyonce's "Halo."</p>

<h3>August 2023 -- Oher Files Lawsuit&nbsp;</h3>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-2">In documents <a href="https://www.etonline.com/the-blind-side-subject-michael-oher-alleges-tuohy-family-never-adopted-him-forced-him-into-209705" rel="" target="_blank">obtained by ET</a>, the 37-year-old claims the Tuohys tricked him into making them his conservators less than three months after he turned 18 in 2004, allegedly telling him there was no consequential difference between being adopted and entering into a conservatorship, giving them&nbsp;legal authority to make business deals in his name.</p>

<p>Oher only learned in February that the documents he was asked to sign by the Tuohys, under the belief that it was part of the "adoption process," were actually conservatorship papers that would strip away his legal rights, the petition says.</p>

<p>The 14-page petition, filed in Shelby County, Tennessee, probate court,&nbsp;alleges that the Tuohys used their power as conservators to negotiate a deal with&nbsp;20th Century Fox that paid them and their biological children -- Collins Tuohy and Sean Tuohy Jr. --&nbsp;millions of dollars in royalties from&nbsp;<em>The Blind Side</em>. The petition alleges that&nbsp;all four members of the Tuohy family were paid $225,000 for the film plus 2.5% of the film's proceeds.</p>

<p>The conservatorship was granted until Oher reached the age of 25 or until the court terminated the order, but the arrangement was never terminated, Oher's petition claims.</p>

<h3>August 2023 -- The Tuohys Respond</h3>

<p>In an interview with&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href="https://dailymemphian.com/section/sports/article/37925/sean-tuohy-responds-allegations-michael-oher-blind-side-money" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Daily Memphian</em></a>, Sean Tuohy said the family is "devastated" by Oher's claims.</p>

<p>"It’s upsetting to think we would make money off any of our children. But we’re going to love Michael at 37 just like we loved him at 16," he added.</p>

<p>After initially claiming they didn't make "any money" off the hit film, Sean said of&nbsp;<em>The Blind Side</em>, "Well, Michael Lewis (the author of the book&nbsp;<em>The Blind Side</em>) gave us half of his share. Everybody in the family got an equal share, including Michael. It was about $14,000 each."</p>

<p>He insisted, "We were never offered money; we never asked for money. My money is well-documented; you can look up how much I sold my company for."</p>

<p>Sean, who owned a chain of fast food restaurants, reportedly sold his franchises for a total of $213 million.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The last thing I needed was 40 grand from a movie," Sean maintained. "I will say it’s upsetting that people would think I would want to make money off any of my children."</p>

<p>Just days after filing his lawsuit, Oher publicly spoke out about the ordeal in a statement to ET.</p>

<p>"I am disheartened by the revelation shared in the lawsuit today," Oher told ET through his rep. "This is a difficult situation for my family and me. I want to ask everyone to please respect our privacy at this time. For now, I will let the lawsuit speak for itself and will offer no further comment."</p>

<h3>August 2023 -- 'SJ' Also Speaks Out</h3>

<p>Speaking to <a href="https://www.etonline.com/son-of-the-blind-side-subjects-leigh-anne-and-sean-tuohy-addresses-michael-ohers-conservatorship" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Barstool Sports</em></a>,&nbsp;Sean Tuohy Jr., who goes by SJ, addressed the situation saying he "knew it was coming" and that the lawsuit was "a matter of time."</p>

<p>"I was surprised it happened the way it did," Sean Jr. added, "but no one was caught off guard."</p>

<h3>August 2023 -- Oher Allegedly Attempted $15 Million Shakedown Before Suit</h3>

<p>In a statement to ET, the Tuohys' family attorney, Marty Singer, claimed that Oher, prior to filing his petition in court, allegedly threatened the family that if they didn't fork over an eight-figure check, he would plant a negative story about them in the press.</p>

<p>Furthermore, the Tuohys deny "tricking" Oher into a conservatorship, and any claims that they did so to go behind his back to score a lucrative movie deal is just not true.</p>

<p>"The notion that a couple worth hundreds of millions of dollars would connive to withhold a few thousand dollars in profit participation payments from anyone -- let alone from someone they loved as a son -- defies belief," <a href="https://www.etonline.com/blind-side-subject-michael-oher-alleges-he-was-tricked-into-conservatorship-by-tuohys-everything-to" rel="" target="_blank">Singer told ET in a lengthy statement</a>.</p>

<h3><strong>September 2023 --&nbsp;Michael Oher's Conservatorship Is Officially Terminated</strong></h3>

<p>According to&nbsp;<a href="https://apnews.com/article/michael-oher-blind-side-tuohys-ee1997025e6c9013e4d665ef18d95dc7" rel="" target="_blank">the Associated Press</a>, a Tennessee judge terminated the legal arrangement on Sept. 29, but has not dismissed Oher's&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/blind-side-subject-michael-oher-alleges-he-was-tricked-into-conservatorship-by-tuohys-everything-to" rel="" target="_blank">lawsuit</a>.</p>

<p>In her remarks, Judge&nbsp;Gomes was reportedly shocked that the conservatorship, which was arranged in 2004, was ever reached.</p>

<p>"I cannot believe it got done," she said of the situation, noting that she has never seen a conservatorship reached with someone who was not disabled in her career spanning more than four decades.&nbsp;</p>

'Blind Side' Subject Michael Oher's Conservatorship Terminated: Everything to Know About His Claims

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/matt-healy" rel="" target="_blank">Matty Healy</a>&nbsp;made a surprise announcement during a tour stop in Sacramento, California -- The 1975 is going on an "indefinite hiatus" after it wraps its current tour.</p>

<p>The band kicked off the North American leg of its tour on Tuesday night at the Golden 1 Center, where Healy triggered an audible gasp after announcing the news. Video captured at the concert and later shared on social media shows Healy with his white dress shirt fully unbuttoned, holding a guitar and rubbing his face as he delivers the news.</p>

<p>"We love coming to this place and playing for you guys whenever we have the chance, and it's wonderful you're all here," he said. "After this tour, we will be going on an indefinite hiatus of shows, so it's wonderful to have you guys with us tonight."</p>

<p>It's unclear if the band's hiatus is strictly tied to live shows or if they plan to pause altogether. According to <em><a href="https://pitchfork.com/news/the-1975-will-take-hiatus-from-live-shows-after-this-tour-says-matthew-healy/" rel="" target="_blank">Pitchfork</a></em>, the band in the past has referred to breaks after album cycles as hiatuses.</p>

<p>In any event, The 1975 has 36 more scheduled dates on its North American leg, which is set to end Dec. 2 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The band will then kick off the European leg in February 2024 in Scotland.</p>

<p>Soon after ET confirmed his split from Swift, Healy made headlines again after <a href="https://www.etonline.com/taylor-swifts-rumored-boyfriend-matty-healy-kisses-a-man-on-the-lips-at-the-1975s-concert-in" rel="" target="_blank">he kissed a man</a> at the&nbsp;2023 NorthSide Festival in Eskelunden, Denmark (their version of Coachella). <p>The crowd went wild at the gesture, though it's usually what Healy does when performing "Robbers." Healy's been known to kiss fans -- male or female -- while performing the 2013 track off their self-titled album. He&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/PopCrave/status/1596799416769208320" rel="" target="_blank">kissed a male fan</a>&nbsp;onstage back in November 2022 and did so again the following month at several of the band's shows.</p>

<p>This past July, The 1975 performed in Malaysia where the band <a href="https://www.etonline.com/malaysia-cancels-music-festival-after-1975s-matty-healy-kisses-same-sex-bandmate-onstage-208524" rel="" target="_blank">protested its anti-LGBTQ+ laws</a> during a festival performance, which prompted government officials to shut down the entire festival as a result.</p>

<p>"And that’s not fair on you, because you’re not representative of your government," Healy continued, addressing the audience. "You are young people, and I’m sure a lot of you are gay and progressive, and cool."</p>

The 1975's Matty Healy Announces Band's 'Indefinite Hiatus' 

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/gisele-bundchen" rel="" target="_blank">Gisele Bündchen</a>&nbsp;has family on her mind.</p>

<p>The 43-year-old Brazilian bombshell took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a carousel of photos featuring a rare pic of her and her five sisters. In the 10th and final photo,&nbsp;Bündchen is seen gently resting her head on her mother&nbsp;Vânia's head. Also in the photo is her father, Valdir, and&nbsp;Bündchen's four other sisters -- her fraternal twin Patricia, Gabriela, Raquel and Rafaela.</p>

<p>"Always in my heart and prayers," she captioned the post, which she also wrote in Portuguese.</p>

<p>Bündchen also showed a lot of love for her native Brazil. The launch image of the carousel features&nbsp;Bündchen mirroring the same pose as Rio de&nbsp;Janeiro's famed 124-foot statue of Christ the Redeemer while poking out of the statue's access tunnel. It's quite the trek -- 12 flights of stairs -- to the access tunnel, but it's a breathtaking view, and that's evident in&nbsp;Bündchen's photo showing her above the clouds.</p>

<p>It appears the trip to Brazil included her two children --&nbsp;Benjamin,13, and Vivian,10 -- whom <a href="https://www.etonline.com/gisele-bundchen-talks-relationship-with-tom-brady-following-divorce-ill-always-wish-him-the-best" rel="" target="_blank">she shares with her ex-husband</a>, Tom Brady.</p>

<p>It's not often&nbsp;Bündchen strikes a pose with her sisters, especially her twin sister, Patricia. But they did exactly that back in May in Miami for a rare joint public appearance. They were on hand for the&nbsp;Luz Alliance Gala benefiting the Brazil Foundation -- which Bündchen was hosting. The gala raised nearly $1 million to benefit reforestation causes in their native country.&nbsp;</p>

Patricia, who serves as her sister's business manager in Brazil, opted for a floral gown with her hair styled to one shoulder. She accessorized the look with minimalist gold jewelry.</p>

<p>Bündchen has leaned on her family in the wake of her divorce from the NFL superstar. In a recent interview with&nbsp;<em><a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/gisele-bundchen-before-i-was-more-surviving-and-now-im-living/?ftag=CNM-00-10aab8c&amp;linkId=237189364" rel="" target="_blank">CBS Sunday Morning</a>&nbsp;</em>while in Costa Rica, the model spoke about the end of their&nbsp;13-year marriage and admitted that divorce is not what she hoped for, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/gisele-bundchen-talks-relationship-with-tom-brady-following-divorce-ill-always-wish-him-the-best" rel="" target="_blank">but she's OK</a> with the way things have played out.</p>

<p>The former Victoria's Secret model also shared she's grateful for what Brady has given her and will always wish him well.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"He's the father of my kids," she said. "So, I always wish him the best. I'm so grateful that he gave me wonderful children and I think you know, when a door shuts, other doors open."</p>

Gisele Bündchen Smiles in Rare Photo With Her Five Sisters -- Including Her Twin!

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/brendan-hunt" rel="" target="_blank">Brendan Hunt</a>&nbsp;and his&nbsp;longtime love, Shannon Nelson, are expecting baby No. 2!</p>

<p>The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/ted-lasso" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Ted Lasso</em></a>&nbsp;star's&nbsp;fiancée took to Instagram and posted a photo of a research paper in front of her growing baby bump. In her caption, she wrote, "Incubating a couple of things," while also seemingly sharing she was 15 weeks pregnant when she uploaded the photo last week.</p>

<p>It's been a big year for Hunt and Nelson, who are also parents to 2-year-old son Sean. Back in June, Hunt <a href="https://www.etonline.com/ted-lasso-star-brendan-hunt-announces-engagement-with-sweet-pic-see-the-gorgeous-ring-207265" rel="" target="_blank">announced his engagement</a> to Nelson on social media. The <em>Ted Lasso</em> co-creator, writer and star shared the joyous news in an Instagram photo of a giddy-looking Nelson as she accepted his proposal.&nbsp;</p>

'Ted Lasso' Star Brendan Hunt and Fiancée Shannon Nelson Expecting Baby No. 2

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kelly-ripa" rel="" target="_blank">Kelly Ripa</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/mark-consuelos" rel="" target="_blank">Mark Consuelos</a>&nbsp;used a novel idea to explain to their children why they were almost always surrounded by a horde of photographers chronicling their every move -- except that one of the kids didn't buy it!</p>

<p>In the latest episode of Ripa's SiriusXM podcast, <a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/lets-talk-off-camera-with-kelly-ripa/id1676166337?i=1000629290294" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Let's Talk Off Camera</em></a>, the couple's daughter,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/lola-consuelos" rel="" target="_blank">Lola Consuelos</a>, joined the show and the mother-daughter duo talked about how they handled the paparazzi when Lola and her siblings were younger. The <em>Live!</em> hosts share three children -- Michael, 26, Lola 22, and Joaquin, 20.</p>

<p>On the podcast, Lola showered her parents with praise for making them aware that they were always under the spotlight. For instance, Lola recalled photographers taking photos of her and her mom when she'd pick her up from school.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I was aware of it [the paparazzi], and I always tell this to people because I say I think you and Dad did the best job of raising us with that type of stuff, because we knew what was going on," Lola said. "But you always told us that it was something else."</p>

<p>That something else?</p>

<p>"When you would pick us up," Lola continued, "when we'd walk home from school I'd be like, 'There's people taking photos of us,' and you're like, 'They're taking photos of the birds.'"</p>

<p>"I used the old bird watchers," Ripa confirmed.</p>

<p style="line-height:1.2; margin-top:16px; margin-bottom:16px">But Lola wasn't buying it.</p>

<p style="line-height:1.2; margin-top:16px; margin-bottom:16px">"'Mom, they're really not, they're not taking photos of the birds. I promise you. They're taking photos of us,'" Lola recalled telling her mom at the time. "And you were like, 'They're just taking photos of the birds. It's not a big deal.'"</p>

<p style="line-height:1.2; margin-top:16px; margin-bottom:16px">And Lola said there was a reason why Ripa never made a big deal of the fact that paps snapped away when she was around her children.</p>

<p style="line-height:1.2; margin-top:16px; margin-bottom:16px">"I think if you had made it a big deal and would've reacted to it -- obviously, we would've reacted to it as well -- but because you literally did not care -- and still don't -- we do not care and we didn't care and we still don't care," Lola explained. "Which is why if someone comes up to you -- if you're having dinner and a fan comes up to you and asks for a picture -- it doesn't even register. It's just time passes and we continue. Let's just say I'm talking to you and a fan comes up and asks for a picture. I'll wait for five seconds and continue my story."</p>

<p>For Ripa, being photographed by paparazzi was never really an issue. In fact, she and her husband developed a friendly relationship with the photographers over the years, and if they requested paps to back off they'd oblige because the couple established a two-way street with them. For Ripa, the issue came <em>after</em> the photos were snapped, and how tabloids would use them.</p>

<p>"Photographers were not the issue," Ripa said. "It was what would happen after those pictures, the negative take that was always certainly in the New York City tabloids. And you and me, we and Dad, we were relentlessly pursued. And it was a different time than it is now."</p>

<p>That Lola grasped at an early age the nuances of the celebrity life is just a small reason why Ripa is so enthralled -- and extremely proud -- of her young daughter. Back in April, Ripa <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kelly-ripa-shares-what-most-impresses-her-about-her-unapologetic-daughter-lola-exclusive-202181" rel="" target="_blank">gushed to ET</a> about her daughter's moxie.</p>

<p>"I am the most impressed with her ability to really speak about what she needs when she needs it," Ripa told ET.&nbsp;"She unapologetically does that. ...I still am learning how to not apologize for everything all the time. And&nbsp;you shouldn't have to apologize for asking for what you need or what you think might make your work environment better or what may make your life easier."&nbsp;</p>

Kelly Ripa and Daughter Lola Consuelos Recall the Unique Way They Handled Paparazzi When She Was a Kid

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/chelsea-handler" rel="" target="_blank">Chelsea Handler</a>&nbsp;is setting the record straight on her love life after she shared a PDA photo that appeared to be with her new boyfriend.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The <em>Chelsea Lately</em> alum took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday and posted a photo where she's kissing a mystery man on the cheek. She overlayed the photo with text that leaves no room for interpretation -- she's in love and she wants the world to know it.</p>

<p>"This is my baby. He is full of love and positivity and his body is my wonderland," said the 48-year-old comedian seemingly in reference to Mayer's 2001 hit, "Your Body Is a Wonderland."</p>

<p>"I love my baby and now I go back to work," she continues, before sharing that she'll be at the famed Beacon Theatre in New York City this weekend.</p>

<p>However, later on Wednesday, Handler took to Instagram again to clarify that the man in the photo is NOT her boyfriend -- but rather the&nbsp;bartender near the house she stayed in, in Mallorca, Spain.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Baby doesn't mean boyfriend, okay? Baby means he's my baby because he made me so many drinks," Handler said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The relationship miscommunication comes just over a year after she and comedian Jo Koy <a href="https://www.etonline.com/chelsea-handler-reveals-why-she-and-jo-koy-broke-up-196493" rel="" target="_blank">ended their romance</a> in June 2022. They went Instagram official in September 2021.</p>

Chelsea Handler Clarifies Her Relationship Status After Appearing to Debut New Boyfriend

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kim-zolciak" rel="" target="_blank">Kim Zolciak</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kroy-biermann" rel="" target="_blank">Kroy Biermann</a>&nbsp;had a hearing in their bitter divorce case, but the judge called it a "waste" after the&nbsp;<em>Don't Be Tardy</em> star failed to show up to the hearing, which was held via Zoom.</p>

<p>Fulton County Superior Court Judge&nbsp;Shermela J. Williams noticed all the parties were present for Wednesday's hearing, with the exception of Zolciak. When the judge asked the former <em>Real Housewives of Atlanta</em> star's lawyer, David Beaudry, to explain her whereabouts, he futilely said she couldn't make the hearing because she was on a flight back from Colombia, where she was filming&nbsp;for the MTV reality series,&nbsp;<em>The Surreal Life</em>.</p>

<p>Beaudry said Zolciak was expected to land in Atlanta at around 9 p.m. local time. After Beaudry apologized for Zolciak's absence, the judge became visibly irritated and sternly reminded Beaudry that she did not excuse Zolciak's absence. Beaudry continued to apologize, prompting the judge to underscore that "her presence was not waived for today, so she is supposed to be here. I did not waive her presence."</p>

<p>The tempestuous moment prompted the judge to pause for a bit. When she resumed -- still visibly annoyed -- the judge informed both parties she would reset the hearing and take away the benefit of appearing via Zoom. Going forward, she stated, all parties involved in the case would have to appear in person in her courtroom, prompting all parties on the Zoom call to become visibly disappointed.</p>

<p>Biermann's lawyer, Marlys Bergstrom, then pivoted to the emergency motion in which he asked the court for <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kroy-biermann-kim-zolciak-want-to-sell-3-million-mansion-a-timeline-of-their-rollercoaster-204319" rel="" target="_blank">permission to sell the family's $3 million home</a> in Alpharetta, Georgia. Bergstrom then revealed to the court that the family home, which Zolciak <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kroy-biermann-claims-he-and-estranged-wife-kim-zolciak-are-financially-destitute-211633" rel="" target="_blank">has refused</a> to put on the market, is set to be foreclosed upon on Nov. 7. Biermann, wearing a white Nike polo shirt, then spoke for the first time when he confirmed his lawyer's statement by telling the judge, "Correct."</p>

<p>When the judge asked Zolciak's attorney if he was aware of this he said, "No, judge, I did not know that."</p>

<p>It's at this point when the former Atlanta Falcons linebacker refused to answer the judge's next question (What is the home's approximate equity?) on the grounds that the media was covering the hearing.</p>

<p>"Your honor, due to the media being here, do I have to answer that?" Biermann asked the judge, to which she responded, saying, "Yep."&nbsp;</p>

<p>But the judge ultimately gave him an out,&nbsp;when she instead asked if the equity on the family home exceeds more than $1 million, and Biermann answered, "Correct."</p>

<p>As ET has previously reported, Biermann said in court documents that he and Zolciak are "<a href="https://www.etonline.com/kroy-biermann-claims-he-and-estranged-wife-kim-zolciak-are-financially-destitute-211633" rel="" target="_blank">financially destitute</a>" and thus selling the home would help alleviate their mounting financial problems. The financial burden he previously laid out in court documents is exactly why he wants the court to grant him permission to sell the estranged couple's $3 million mansion. He claimed that "the only asset the parties have is the marital residence and they are facing foreclosure on the home for a second time."&nbsp;</p>

<p>After calling Wednesday's hearing a "waste," the judge set the next hearing for Sept. 29 in her courtroom, and the judge doubled down, saying, "All parties need to be present." At that hearing, the judge will cover&nbsp;Zolciak's motion to have the court dismiss Biermann's <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kroy-biermann-files-for-divorce-from-kim-zolciak-again-1-month-after-reconciling-210333" rel="" target="_blank">second divorce filing</a> and Biermann's petition asking for permission to sell the family home.</p>

<p>The judge said she'll make a decision on Biermann's petition before Nov. 7, when the home is set to go into foreclosure.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As ET previously reported, Zolciak filed a motion to dismiss Biermann's second divorce petition on the grounds that they're still engaging in "<a href="https://www.etonline.com/kroy-biermann-has-no-desire-to-reconcile-with-kim-zolciak-despite-sexual-relations-212023" rel="" target="_blank">marital sexual relations</a>." Biermann responded to her motion and confirmed as much before adding that he wants to continue with the dissolution of marriage.</p>

<p>Zolciak and Biermann share four children --&nbsp;Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9. Biermann also adopted Zolciak's two daughters -- Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21.</p>

Kim Zolciak Skips Divorce Hearing and Angers Judge, Kroy Biermann's Lawyer Confirms Home Foreclosure

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/cher" rel="" target="_blank">Cher</a>&nbsp;has been accused of hiring four men to kidnap her son, Elijah Blue Allman, from a New York hotel room in an effort to stop Allman from reconciling with his estranged wife.</p>

<p>Marie Angela King, his estranged wife, made the startling allegation in court documents she filed in Los Angeles Superior Court back on Dec. 5. The court documents, obtained by ET, are only now making headlines after the case was uncovered as part of the estranged couple's ongoing divorce case.</p>

<p>In court documents,&nbsp;King claims she was told Cher hired four men to remove Allman from a hotel room the night of their wedding anniversary. She claims they spent 12 days alone together since Nov. 18, but that all changed on Nov. 30, 2022, when four people barged into their hotel room and "removed [Allman] from our room.</p>

<p>"I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by petitioner's mother," the court documents state. "Since August 2022, I have been told that I am not allowed to see or speak to [Allman] who is currently in lockdown at a treatment facility that is undisclosed to me. I am also told [Allman] has no access to his phone."</p>

<p>ET has reached out to Cher for comment.</p>

<p>King goes on to claim that the "Believe" songstress asked her to leave the family home in Allman's absence.</p>

<p>"I did so on the belief that my support payments would be timely, and I would be able to afford housing," she further claimed in court documents. "I was not allowed to retrieve all my belongings from our primary home and residence, nor was I given the opportunity to inventory our assets."</p>

<p>The next court date in this case is scheduled for Oct. 27 in Los Angeles.</p>

<p>Cher and ex-husband Gregg Allman, share Allman, who was born on July 10, 1976. She and late ex-husband Sonny Bono, who together performed as Sonny &amp; Cher, share son Chaz Bono, born on March 4, 1969.&nbsp;</p>

Cher Allegedly Hired Four Men to Kidnap Her Son Elijah Blue Allman, Court Documents Claim

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/maksim-chmerkovskiy" rel="" target="_blank">Maksim Chmerkovskiy</a>&nbsp;is spilling the tea on a number of fronts, including the misconception that <em>Dancing With the Stars</em> pros are super flirty.</p>

<p>During an appearance on <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/cheryl-burke" rel="" target="_blank">Cheryl Burke</a>'s <a href="https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-sex-lies-and-spray-tans-123223031/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Sex, Lies and Spray Tans</em></a> iHeart podcast,&nbsp;Chmerkovskiy shared why it is that celebrities are the ones to almost always fall in love with the dancers. In short,&nbsp;Chmerkovskiy says most of the celebrities who meet the dancers -- in his case, anyway -- during rehearsal, walk into a room eyeing specimen unlike any they've ever seen.</p>

<p>"That type of sexual energy, because they walk in and you're standing there with&nbsp;Sasha [Farber] with his chest open or Val [Chmerkovskiy] with his shirt off and abs and Maks with his v-neck shirt, this, that or the other,"&nbsp;Chmerkovskiy explains. "We're just obnoxiously out of this world and people don't know what to do with us."</p>

<p>That being said,&nbsp;Chmerkovskiy insists that their display of intense masculinity is not to exude flirtatious vibes. Not at all.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Kirstie Alley, rest in peace, she said it many times. She's like, 'You're so flirty.' I'm like, 'Me?'"&nbsp;Chmerkovskiy recalled of his season 12 and 15 dance partner, who <a href="https://www.etonline.com/kirstie-alley-cheers-star-and-emmy-winning-actress-dead-at-71-195500" rel="" target="_blank">tragically died</a>&nbsp;last December at 71. "We were in some break. I was like, 'What?! You're crazy.' And I'm walking around nervously pacing trying to think of how to make this woman look good on Monday. And we're running out of time. She's not getting it. It's just like, 'Oh my god, what else can I do?'"</p>

<p>"And in the midst of that she's like, 'You're so flirty,'" he continues. "And I'm like, 'Kirstie, please. Not right now I'm begging you.'"</p>

<p>Chmerkovskiy says he asked Alley why she kept saying that.</p>

<p>Chmerkovskiy, who last competed on&nbsp;<em>DWTS&nbsp;</em>in season 25 in 2017, says it's not just Alley who had those misconceptions. It's pretty much everyone with zero dance experience.</p>

<p>Burke then reeled off a ton of questions that seriously put&nbsp;Chmerkovskiy on the spot, like:</p>

<p>The most challenging partner? "Kirstie Alley, twice."</p>

<p>The most fun partner? "Kirstie Alley."</p>

<p>The most talented partner? "Brandy."</p>

<p>The most awkward partner? "Misty May-Treanor." ("Love you, Misty. Actually, [she's] the only celebrity partner that I keep in touch with,"&nbsp;Chmerkovskiy shared.)</p>
