How Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Make Their Long-Distance Relationship Work

Taylor Swift recently made an effort to be part of Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl ring ceremony.

They say no one is ever too busy, it's just a matter of priorities. And that's the driving principle behind Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship.

A source tells ET that "Taylor and Travis make sure that the current long-distance aspect of their relationship doesn't last very long. They both move their schedules around if it's feasible and try to carve out as much time as they can to see each other, as well as each other’s families and friends."

The source adds, "They prioritize each other and do anything and everything to make each other happy. Their relationship is genuine and they both want to make it work, so it does."

And the proof is in the pudding. As recently as Thursday, the Tortured Poets Department singer stayed up late into the night following her Eras Tour performance at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, England, so that she could virtually celebrate with Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs during their Super Bowl ring ceremony in Kansas City, Missouri.

Swift expressed her excitement through a series of enthusiastic, all-caps comments such as "YESSSSSS" and "CONGRATULATIONS," which fans shared on social media. She also congratulated Mecole Hardman on his contract extension with the team.

However, due to the time difference in the U.K., Swift had to sign off early to rest for her upcoming performances. She left a heartfelt message saying, "Gotta go to sleep it's so late here love you guys."

And who could forget the Midnights singer hopping on a jet following her Eras Tour performance in Tokyo, Japan, and hightailing it to Las Vegas, Nevada's Allegiant Stadium just in time to watch Kelce play in Super Bowl LVIII back in February. Kelce's offered similar overtures -- from visiting Swift in Argentina for a "date night" and her Eras Tour concert to flying across the pond and watching her in Paris.

This is all to say that the couple is making a gargantuan effort, including cooking together, because the relationship's trending up.

"Taylor and Travis definitely see a long-term future together and things are continuing to move in that direction," the source tells ET. "Their shared values and love of family keeps them connected."

Swift is inching closer and closer to wrapping up her record-breaking Eras Tour. During her 100th show in Liverpool, the songstress shared that the Eras Tour will officially come to an end in December.
