Toni Braxton has broken her silence on the death of her niece, Lauren Braxton.

On Wednesday, the singer posted a photo of herself on a red carpet alongside the late 24-year-old. Lauren is sporting long, purple braids, a white top featuring cutouts, and skin-tight leggings while her aunt rocks a short-skirted dress covered in beadwork.

"R.I.P to my amazing niece Lauren 'Lo Lo' Braxton...I'm still in disbelief and so very heartbroken ?? Love you...always auntie 'Te Te.'"

Just one day prior, TMZ reported that Lauren's father (and Toni's younger brother), Michael Conrad Braxton Jr., said that her death on Monday was related to a heart condition. The outlet also reported that, according to law enforcement, Lauren was unresponsive when they responded to a 911 call on Monday afternoon. She was then pronounced dead by paramedics.

Soon after, Trina Braxton, Toni's sister, posted a photo of Lauren on Instagram along with this message: "God sent me another angel! Rest in Heaven Lauren 'LoLo' Braxton. ❤️."

A rep for the Braxton family told ET, "We ask that you please respect the Braxton family's privacy in this time of sadness and loss."
