Rapper Kodak Black Arrested at US Border on Drugs and Weapons Charges

The 21-year-old rapper was reportedly released on $20,000 cash bond on Thursday.

Kodak Black was arrested on Wednesday. 

The 21-year-old rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was arrested on charges of second degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana after attempting to enter the U.S. from Canada at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge in a Cadillac Escalade with a temporary California registration, ET confirms. 

Jeantony Saintmelus, who was traveling with Black, was arrested on the same charges, while two other members of Black's team, Stetson J. President and Madarrow D. Smith were arrested on a charge of second degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon. 

Black, therefore, missed his scheduled concert at the House of Blues in Boston on Wednesday night, while his Thursday night show at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut has reportedly also been canceled. Black was released on a $20,000 cash bond on Thursday morning, according to multiple reports. ET has reached out to Black's rep for comment.
