In an exclusive video message in support of the Wallis Annenberg PetSpace, Theron explains the impact that her two rescue dogs, Berkeley and Johnny have had on her life.

"My children absolutely adore them, and they adore my children, and I cannot imagine our family without them. I mean, what's better when you open your door, and two friendly faces are happy to see you no matter what? That's what Berkley and Johnny does!" she shares. "They're unconditional, they're beautiful, they're strays, but they're so beautiful. You don't need a purebred dog!"

"Look at these handsome boys! Look at these faces! Adopt!" she adds.

Bell also opens up about her rescue story with her dog, Lola.

"I met Lola in a shelter deep in the Valley in Los Angeles 13 years ago," she shares. "I wanted a dog for my birthday, which was like my first dog as an adult, she was just staring at me from inside her kennel, and I felt this instant connection. The woman at the pound said, 'You might not want that dog. She's been returned by two other families,' and I said, 'Nope. That's my dog. That's the dog I want.'"
