June Diane Raphael says being in a house full of boys "feels just right."

ET recently caught up with the Grace and Frankie star at the Costume Designers Guild Awards, where she opened up about life at home with her husband, Paul Scheer, and their two precious children, and what it was like filming season three of the hit Netflix series while pregnant.

Raphael, 37, and Scheer, 41, welcomed son Sam last August, and the Rockville Centre, New York, native admitted that parenting the second time around has been "so much better."

"Yeah, second time, less anxiety-riddled and really fun," she dished. "It's been great so far, knock on wood. I mean, it's insane, what am I saying? But it's great."

Raphael told ET that part of that reason is because Scheer has been on diaper duty since day one -- and she plans to keep it that way!

"Because I had a C-section, I feel like my husband changed the first diaper," she revealed. "He's super involved, and I wouldn't have it any other way. He probably changes more diapers than I do."

"In fact, during the newborn stage, he's like, 'I have all the jobs where the baby's screaming bloody murder, and then you breastfeed when he's so happy and calm,'" she added. "I'm like, 'That's exactly how it should be.'"

The two are also parents to 2-year-old son Gus, who Raphael says is loving life as a big brother. "He's doing great!" she gushed. "There's some growing pains, of course, but it's been so far, so good."

"We shall see," she joked. "It all changes, but right now, we had a good day today. Can't focus on too much else."

Raphael said one thing she is focusing on, however, is getting back into shape. ET also caught up with Grace and Frankie costume designer Allyson Fanger at the event, who not only echoed Raphael's statements, but also shared some fun stories about what it was like dressing all the baby bumps on set. As some fans may recall, Raphael's co-star, Brooklyn Decker, was also pregnant while filming the series' second season.

"I shot this last season [of Grace and Frankie] very pregnant. I literally finished filming I think on a Friday and then had a C-section on a Tuesday," Raphael told ET. "I mean, when I say I was pregnant, I was pregnant. So it certainly had its challenges, but what I really loved about it was I was able to snag all of the really expensive maternity clothes that Allyson bought for my character that I would never splurge on. So that was really good!"

Fanger chimed in, telling ET, "June had also just had a baby when we started filming the first season, and then she came back second season all like, 'Put me in some tight clothes!' She looked amazing."

"And then Brooklyn became pregnant during the second season, when June was all like, 'Woo!'" she added. "It was a lot. So when I called them for season [four] I was like, 'Is there anything I need to know? I need to know now.' But neither of them are pregnant now, so… we do have a character though, well, I can't say more about that, but we do have something happening with that."

"What was so crazy was, [Brooklyn] was playing pregnant [on the show], but wasn't [in real life], and then when she was pregnant [in real life], she wasn't playing pregnant," added Raphael. "It's all been so incredibly confusing. We have not made this easy for Allyson at all! She's done a really amazing job with all of our different, various bodies. Jane Fonda's the only one who stayed, you know, real thin the whole time."

As for what to expect from Raphael's character, Brianna, when season three of Grace and Frankie returns to Netflix on March 24? Raphael teases a lot of unnecessary sitting and a hot, new romance.

"If you watch the third season, you'll see me sitting for most of it in scenes where it makes NO sense for me to be sitting," she explained. "I'd be like, 'You guys, I literally can't stand up.' So that was always sort of the joke. I always tried to block myself, so I'd have to, like, take a seat in situations that certainly weren't that… but yeah, I think it came out great. I'm really excited."

"I think [fans] saw from the teaser, but the business that Jane and Lily [Tomlin]'s characters go into at the end of the second season, or are discussing the vibrator business and these sex toys and products for older women -- it's happening!" she continued. "So that's a big part of the season. And my character, Brianna, is connected to that business in a way, and I have a really interesting relationship with a certain gentleman that goes kind of crazy and there's a big surprise in that."

"I think if people enjoyed the second season, they'll really like it," she added. "It's just more of Jane and Lily being amazing, so what else do any of us want out of life?"
