Paulson, who was without partner Holland Taylor, 74, looked radiant in a custom silver-and-gold Marc Jacobs sequinned gown and stunning Neil Lane jewels. During the telecast, the 42-year-old won for Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie for her portrayal of Marcia Clark on The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

Meanwhile, Peet, 44, opted for a deep burgundy gown. As the two came together on the carpet, their mission seemed simple: to redefine both elegance and friendship goals.
