After numerous tweets and one controversial quip at Sunday's Golden Globes, Ricky Gervais is still managing to come up with bad driver jokes at Caitlyn Jenner's expense.

"What a year [Jenner]'s had! She became a role model for trans people everywhere, showing great bravery in breaking down barriers and destroying stereotypes. She didn't do a lot for women drivers, but--" the comedian shrugged during his awards show monologue. “You can't have everything.”

At the winter TCA press tour on Thursday, Jenner hit back at the comedian. “I think what I'm going to do is call the Golden Globes and see if they need a new host for next year,” she said in response to Gervais poking fun at her tragic February 2015 car accident. “We'll solve that problem.”

Jenner's comments only seemed to give Gervais more material as he later tweeted: "Please, please, please let her host the @goldenglobes. Just don't let her drive."

The British funnyman also commented on a headline that said the reality star was "breaking her silence" about his Golden Globes joke. "At last. She always brakes too late," he quipped.

Gervais hasn't backed down when it comes to defending the joke he made at the event. "Suggesting a joke about Caitlyn Jenner is automatically transphobic is like suggesting a joke about Bill Cosby is automatically racist," he tweeted on Tuesday. "Do people not realize that when they say they are offended by a joke it makes that joke even funnier for the rest of us."
