Kellie Pickler knows it wouldn't be a great country party without a few drinks.

"We're here to have a good time -- it's going to be a good party," the 28-year-old singer spilled to ETonline on the red carpet for the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night. "We're here celebrating great country music and the history of country music, this is a big night."

It’s no secret that ACMs host Blake Shelton loves to drink so we asked Pickler to give us his alcoholic estimate. "What?! [Blake] drinks? Nooo!" Pickler said with feigned surprised. "Maybe [he'll] have one or two."

The blonde beauty was quick to point out that everyone at the ACMs -- herself included -- will be throwing a few drinks back. "We're all guilty, we cannot judge here," the singer said before confessing with a laugh that she has already had "just a couple."

The "Red High Heels" singer also revealed that she is working on her next album with a new single dropping in the new few weeks. "I will say that it is up-tempo and I hope that it will be this year's summer anthem," she teased. "Represent the girls and have fun. It's sassy, and fun."

In addition to new music, Pickler is also gearing up for a transition back to the small screen. "I just partnered with Ryan Seacrest Productions for a new reality show with CMT so we’re getting ready to start shooting that in the next few months so that's exciting."

Pickler, who first got her start on American Idol, says shes not afraid to welcome cameras into her home.

"I think when people were first introduced to me on Idol I was 19 and green and my life has kind of been an open book and I really don’t have anything to hide," she said. "We just want to make people laugh, that's the bottom line. This show is short 30 minutes episode and we just want to bring people joy and make them smile."

It's no secret that country music is crossing over into all different genres of music, so when we asked who’d she’d most like to share a tour bus with, Pickler surprised us with a fun answer.

"You know I'm obsessed with and I love because she's amazing? I saw her perform in Madison Square Garden a couple years ago and I've been a huge fan of hers ever since -- I love P!nk," she spilled. "I feel like we would have a blast together, she seems like a girl's girl and she seems like a fun time."
