5. Bob Marley ($20 Million)
Even though 33 years have passed since his death, music legend Bob Marley earned a $20 million paycheck this year. His earnings stem from his estate and album sales – He's sold over 75 MILLION copies over the past two decades!

4. Elizabeth Taylor ($25 Million)
Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor passed away in 2011 – but was paid $25 million in 2014 from her estate and successful perfume line.

3. Charles M. Schulz ($40 million)

Cartoonist Charles M. Schulz earns the third spot with his $40 million pay check. The Peanuts creator still earns from his beloved characters – and there's more where that came from! The Peanuts gang will be getting the silver screen treatment in a 3D feature hitting theaters next year.


2. Elvis Presley ($55 million)

It's been 37 years since his death – But there's no stopping the King of Rock 'n' Roll! Elvis Presley earned $55 million this year with the majority of his earnings coming from his Graceland Estate. His final resting place attracts over 600,000 visitors flocking from over to pay tribute to the music legend.
