Eckhart's Frankenstein's monster is a quick and agile fighter, and the star trained for six months to get in shape and learn how to convincingly wield the signature stick weapons his character uses in the film. He confesses, "A lot of training -- very exhausting film."

Based on the graphic novel I, Frankenstein by Kevin Grevioux, the new movie is set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein's creation Adam (Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality.
