Out of the movie's stars (James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson to name a few) most of them have known each other since the '90s. While there was a time when they were still unknown and unemployed with plenty of time to kill, now that they are all successful they rarely have time to hang out together.

Jonah Hill explained that working on the project was a lot like a much needed reunion, saying, "We get to be in the same place together for three months!"

This is the End finally answers the question: How would Hollywood's funniest young actors/comedians behave in an apocalyptic situation?

All the actors play themselves and have to find a way to survive after a series of catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles.

"This movie is really about friendship and group dynamics -- how people deal with each other in extreme circumstances," said co-writer and co-director Evan Goldberg. "But it's also about growing up and figuring out how your old, childhood world fits in with your new, adult world."

This is the End hits theaters June 14.
