Brad Pitt left Angelina Jolie and the rest of the family in London as he jetted off to New York for last night's premiere of his low-budget mob thriller Killing Them Softly. ET's Christina McLarty caught up with the star to find out what it was like playing a dual role as actor/producer on the film and to get an update on his family.

"The family is home... well in London," Brad said, referring to the location where he's currently filming the upcoming action movie World War Z. "So I just buzzed in because we're stationed there right now."

When asked about his busy schedule and whether it's currently all work and no play, Brad says he still manages to get in "a lot of play" time. As for any plans for the upcoming holidays, Brad said nothing has been set and that he and the family are still "trying to figure it out."

In Killing Them Softly, three not-too-bright guys decide to rob a Mob-protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse. Brad plays an enforcer hired to track them down and restore order. The film also stars Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta, Ben Mendelsohn, Scoot McNairy and Vincent Curatola.
