Lambert took home her first-ever ACM Award Monday night, but wasn't in the country to accept in person!

Miranda Lambert is taking home her first-ever ACM Entertainer of the Year Award! Lambert nabbed the  honor at the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards Monday night. However, she wasn't actually on hand to accept the award in person.

Host Dolly Parton presented the night's biggest honor, and shared the news of her win and absence.

"I have always loved that girl, but unfortunately Miranda couldn't be here tonight because she's working overseas," Parton shared. "She's watching us right now... so congratulations Miranda!"

Miranda pre-taped an acceptance speech in the event that she won, and she shared a heartfelt message with her fans and fellow artists.

"I cannot believe I'm not there tonight, I'm in London!" Lambert shared in a video played on giant screens above the stage. "This is the first time I've missed the ACMs in 17 years, so my heart is a little broken. But I'm happy to be where I am."

"I've been waiting for this for a really, really long time," she continued. "I actually never thought it would happen. But thank you so much to the country music family for embracing me all these years and continuing to support me."

Lambert has been nominated multiple times in the past for Entertainer of the Year, but has never won. She is, however, the most awarded ACM Artist in history with 35 wins.

Lambert concluded her acceptance speech with a special dedication.

"This one goes out to all the singer-songwriter girls out there who are putting their blood, sweat and tears into their guitar strings," she declared. "We did it! This is for us!"

Only eight female acts have ever won Entertainer of the Year: Loretta Lynn (1975), Dolly Parton (1978), Barbara Mandrell (1981), Reba McEntire (1995), Shania Twain (2000), Dixie Chicks (2001), Carrie Underwood (2009, 2010, 2020, 2022) and Taylor Swift (2011, 2012).

The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards streames live on Prime Video March 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Check out the full winners list here!
