Palm Royale is Apple TV+'s latest original series, set in Palm Beach during the late 1960s. The visually stunning show features some serious star power with a cast consisting of Kristen WiigAllison JanneyRicky MartinJosh LucasLeslie BibbLaura Dern and Carol Burnett — just to name a few.

The series follows Maxine (Wiig), who will do anything to enter the exclusive, high society of Palm Beach's hottest country club, the Palm Royale. Her aspirations to reach this treacherous social circle of elites prove more difficult than expected. She first schmoozes with Evelyn (Janney), who runs the scene, but when that doesn't work, she turns to scheming instead. The 10-episode mini-series premieres on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, March 20.

SNL alumni Wiig sat down with ET and her Palm Royale co-star Burnett to speak about the upcoming series.

"With sketch comedy and everything she did for every person, every woman, she's such an inspiration," Wigg said about getting to work with Burnett. Adding it wasn't just her who was excited to work with the renowned comedian, "It was the crew, everyone. I mean, she's just a dream." 

"Oh stop," replied Burnett. "When I heard who was going to be in this project, I didn't even have to read it — I have to work with Kristen. I have to work with Allison and, well, I know and — I have to say, I'm thrilled. Maybe it's a spoiler, but I have so many wonderful scenes with this one and I have been a fan of yours."
