With Meghan Markle just a couple of weeks away from giving birth to her first child with Prince Harry, we thought it was only right to look back at some of the biggest royal baby debuts from years past!
Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor
Prince George made his royal debut at 1-day-old! Kate Middleton and Prince William both wore blue when they introduced the world to their firstborn on the steps of St. Mary's Hospital in London on July 23, 2013.
Kate and William welcomed daughter Charlotte on May 2, 2015, and the royals stepped out with her just hours later on the same steps outside the Lindo Wing, where we first met George.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge became parents of three on April 23, 2018. Just like his big sister Charlotte, little Louis was only hours old when he hit the steps of St. Mary's Hospital with his proud parents. William wore a shirt very similar to the button-up he sported after George's birth, while Kate opted for a bright red dress with a white floral collar.
Like his children, Prince William also made his first appearance on the hospital steps, but it was much easier to see his adorable face at his christening at Buckingham Palace in August 1984. Princess Diana gave birth to William, her first son with Prince Charles, on June 21, 1982.
The soon-to-be dad was pretty darn cute while posing with his mom, the late Princess Diana, at his christening on Dec. 21, 1984. Harry was born three months prior on Sept. 15.
Prince Charles, born Nov. 14, 1948, looked too precious at his christening with his mom, who was then known as Princess Elizabeth.
Elizabeth and Prince Philip's second child, Anne, is the couple's only daughter. Born on Aug. 15, 1950, she can be seen in this sweet black-and-white family portrait taken later that year in October, which features her proud, beaming parents and big brother, Prince Charles of Wales.
The Duke of York, Elizabeth and Philip's third child, is a decade younger than his big brother. Some of the first pics of Andrew are from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth's, 60th birthday party in London in August 1960, when he was six months old (his birthday is Feb. 19.)
The youngest of their four children, Elizabeth and Philip welcomed the Earl of Wessex on March 10, 1964. Queen Elizabeth II, as she was known by the time of Edward's birth, proudly held her infant son on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the annual Trooping the Colour parade in London on June 13, 1964.
One of the most famous royal kids of William and Harry's generation not named, well, William or Harry, Princess Beatrice of York was born to to Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew on Aug. 8, 1988. She looked too precious all dolled up for her christening later that December.
Beatrice's little sister, Eugenie, was cozily wrapped in her mom's arms as they left Portland Hospital in London on March 30, 1990, seven days after her birth.
Born on Nov. 15, 1977, Princess Anne and Mark Phillips' first born is three-and-a-half years older than his sister, Zara. He made quite the impression at 1-month-old, looking around anxiously during his baptism at Buckingham Palace.
Anne and Mark's daughter made her debut at just three days old, when her proud mom showed her off on the steps of London's St. Mary's Hospital on May 18, 1981.
Lady Louise Windsor
The Earl and Countess of Wessex welcomed their only daughter on Nov. 8, 2003. She was first spotted leaving the hospital in dad Edward's arms two weeks later, when mom Sophie told photogs that the little lady looked more like her father.
James, Viscount Severn
Edward and Sophie's younger child was born on Dec. 17, 2007, and he made his debut with both of his proud parents in Surrey, England, three days later.
Zara was first seen out and about with her oldest daughter in February 2014. It wasn't until April of that year, however, that we got a good look at the newborn's sweet face, when the royal brought her three-month-old daughter to the SYMM International Horse Trials in Hambleden, England.
Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall's second daughter is the youngest of the current British royal bunch, having been born on June 18, 2018. A pregnant Meghan Markle stepped out with husband Prince Harry for her christening on March 17, 2019, where baby Lena was seen being cradled by her rugby player dad after the church service in Gloucestershire, England.
Peter Phillips has two daughters with wife Autumn, the oldest of whom was born on Dec. 29, 2010. The first great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II, Savannah is now known as one of the cheekiest of the young royals, but she looked quite calm hanging out in her stroller at the Gatcombe Park Horse Trials in Stroud, England, on March 26, 2011.
Savannah's little sis was welcomed into the world on March 29, 2012. Horses are quite popular for the Phillips and Tindall girls -- the first sighting of Isla came at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire, when Autumn and Zara took their young girls to see the equestrians later that year on June 17.
