Get ready for T-shirt time, duck phones and battling in clubs because the Jersey Shore cast is back! Have they finally grown up or just grown messier? Let's take a look at the cast -- then and now.
'Jersey Shore'

When MTV's Jersey Shore debuted in late 2009, it instantly won a place in pop culture and in our hearts. Though the show sometimes courted controversy, America loved the GTL life and fist-pumping partying of JWoww, Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D, Vinny, Sammi and the crew. The show ran for six seasons until 2012, through brawls, arrests and hookups in the smush room. Now, they're at it again for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The cast is older -- but are they wiser? Click through to see how things have changed for the gang since the show first, um, graced, our screens.
Then: Paul 'Pauly D' DelVecchio

Aspiring DJ Paul 'Pauly D' DelVecchio was 29 in 2009 when Jersey Shore premiered, and his fun and relatable style on and off the dance floor quickly won him fans. Born and raised in Rhode Island, his popularity soared after the show's debut. He was nominated three years in a row, and won twice, for Teen Choice Male Reality Star of the Year and opened for Britney Spears during her Femme Fatale tour in 2011.

One of the most successful of the Shore alumnis, Pauly D is now based in Las Vegas where he DJs and is prepping for a multi-city tour of the U.S. He, somewhat unexpectedly, became a dad in 2013 and most recently was dating former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day, after they both appeared on E!'s Famously Single.
Then: Jenni 'JWoww' Farley

A 23-year-old graphic designer before the show, JWoww quickly made waves on Jersey Shore. She was a big talker with a sweet side, who famously compared herself to a praying mantis: "After I have sex with a guy I will rip their heads off." Other highlights included her notorious Pauly D hookup and her hair-pulling throwdown with Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola.
Now: Jenni 'JWoww' Farley

JWoww married her longtime Jersey Shore beau, Roger Mathews, in 2015 and the couple have two kids together, a 3-year-old daughter, Meilani, and 22-month-old son, Greyson. But motherhood hasn't slowed Jwoww down at all. After four successful seasons of her spinoff series, Snooki & Jwoww, the 32-year-old hosted her own talk show on TLC, Young Americans and launched a lifestyle website, Miss Domesticated.
Then: Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola

Born and bred in New Jersey, then 22-year-old Sammi's debut on Jersey Shore marked the start of a tumultuous relationship with castmate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. The two were on-again, off-again during the series, and the relationship spawned more drama than anyone wants to remember.
Now: Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola

Sammi eventually ended her relationship with Ronnie for good and is now dating fellow New Jersey-native Christian Biscardi and runs her own online fashion boutique. The 31-year-old decided not to join her Shore castmates for the Family Vacation reunion, a decision she explained on Instagram is due to her desire to "avoid potentially toxic situations."
Then: Vinny Guadagnino

At 21 years old, the Staten Island native was a self-confessed mama's boy who won fans over for his good-natured personality. He had a hot romance with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi for a minute, but ultimately managed to avoid most of the drama that plagued his other roommates.
Now: Vinny Guadagino

In 2017, Vinny and his mom, Paola, briefly starred in their own Cooking Channel show, Vinny & Ma Eat America. Now 30, Vinny is based in New York City and recently launched his own clothing line.
Then: Ronnie Ortiz-Magro

Ronnie brought capital-D drama and dysfunction with him from The Bronx to Seaside Heights. Just 24 years old in Jersey Shore's first season, he quickly got involved with Sammi in a rocky relationship that often turned ugly and toxic.
Now: Ronnie Ortiz-Magro

After appearing on E!'s Famously Single, Ronnie had a brief relationship with Khloe Kardashian bestie Malika Haqq, but he's expecting a baby "any second" now with girlfriend Jen Harley. And, he says, there's no bad blood these days with Sammi: "I'm supporting everything she does."
Then: Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi

Born in Chile, but adopted by Italian-American parents in New York, Snooki was an instant fan favorite. Snooki, then 22 years old, was as lovable as she was boisterous. She was ride or die for her friends and genuinely cared about her roomies -- which made America care about her. She had her share of drama, too, though. Like the time she was rudely punched in the face at a bar, and the epic anonymous letter she and JWoww used to out Ronnie's cheating (again) to Sammi.
Now: Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi

Snooki has proven herself an entrepreneur in the years since Jersey Shore ended, launching online stores selling her clothing line and handmade goods. She also continued her reality television success in the mom-focused Snooki & JWoww spinoff and gave a respectable performance on Dancing With the Stars. The 30-year-old lives in New Jersey with her husband Jionni LaValle, and their two children, 3-year-old daughter Giovanna and 5-year-old son Lorenzo.
Then: Michael 'The Situation' Sorrentino

Formerly an underwear model and fitness store manager, The Situation was 27 by the time he hit the Seaside Heights house for Jersey Shore, where he coined -- and embodied -- GTL. Known as much for his abs as his head-first run into a wall in Italy, The Situation was pretty much as Jersey Shore as it gets.
Now: Michael 'The Situation' Sorrentino

The Situation currently faces a situation of his own making -- up to five years in prison on tax evasion charges he pleaded guilty to in January. The sentence will be handed down by a judge on April 25. But the 35-year-old, now more than two years' sober, says he is "at peace" with the outcome, whatever it is, and is focused on helping others instead. He currently serves as director of outreach at a New Jersey rehab facility, and speaks regularly on his past struggles with addiction. Sorrentino lives in New Jersey and is dating his longtime girlfriend, stylist Lauren Pesce.
Then: Deena Cortese

Deena joined the Jersey Shore crew in the show's third season after Snooki suggested her in the wake of Angelina Pivarnick's dramatic departure. The self-described "blast in a glass" kept up with the guys and kept it real on the dance floor.
Now: Deena Cortese

Deena has kept a fairly low profile since the end of Jersey Shore. She still lives in New Jersey and got married in 2017 to Christopher Buckner at a wedding attended by many of her castmates.
Then: Angelina Pivarnick

Angelina was quickly ousted from season one, but returned in the next season, only to leave again after drama with practically everybody in the house. Oh yeah, and that fight with Vinny over her role in Sammi's letter drama.
Now: Angelina Pivarnick

Angelina makes a surprise return on Family Vacation, promising that she's "not going anywhere" this time. The 31-year-old recently got engaged to her boyfriend Chris Larangeira.
