The trio's look took on an even bigger meaning when the "What About Us" singer dedicated her Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award speech to her little girl.

The VMA host kicked the night off on a strong note in a sculptural white Stéphane Rolland couture gown and dangly metallic circle earrings.

The "Green Light" singer was one of the first to hit the red carpet, and she set the bar high in this strapless lilac feathered frock. She called her look -- which included eyes and lips in a matching pastel hue -- "moon princess" on Twitter.

The 35-year-old singer slayed in this draped gray gown with a thigh-high slit, which she paired with drop-down silver earrings and strappy metallic sandals.

All eyes were on Munn in this itty bitty hand-embroidered long-sleeved Nicolas Jebran mini. She accessorized with silver heels, Dana Rebecca Designs earrings and EFFY Jewelry and Sara Weinstock rings, and finished off her look with loose waves and a dark burgundy lip.

Her speech onstage may have been serious, but she clearly had a lot of fun in this playful, sheer Christina Dior dress and nude bra-and-spandex panties set emblazoned with the designer's logo. 

Nearly unrecognizable once again in a long brunette wig, Rose vamped it up in a curve-hugging, full-length black sequined dress by Yousef Aljasmi.

The High School Musical alum gave us major Gwen Stefani vibes in this red ruffled Yanina Couture dress, which makes sense as Stefani rocked a similar frock from the designer at her first red carpet event with boyfriend Blake Shelton last year. Hudgens made the look her own by slipping into strappy Sophia Webster heels, plus she added a glittery red cateye and slicked her hair back into a voluminous bob.

The Fifth Harmony member was on fire in this cleavage-baring black Labourjoisie number and Neil Lane jewels.
