Yes, Hudgens plays a stripper, but there's so much more to her role. In The Frozen Ground Hudgens' character, Cindy, gets pulled into a murderous world when a detective, played by Nicholas Cage, enlists her help in stopping a serial killer. 

John Cusack plays Robert Hansen, the malicious man who has eluded capture for years, and once held Cindy hostage. But following her escape, she becomes hugely important to both Cage and Cusack's characters. 

Based on a shocking true story, The Frozen Ground hits theaters and VOD on August 23.
