Dream Casting the 'Point Break' Remake

It was recently announced that Ericson Core, cinematographer on The Fast and the Furious, had been tapped to direct a remake of Point Break, the 1991 action flick starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze.

While this incarnation will be set in the world of extreme sports and not surfing, the basic set-up (young cop goes undercover to take down band of bank robbers) remains the same.

So who should play Johnny Utah and Bodhi? We've got some suggestions!

While the idea of casting brothers as cinematic rivals seems stunt-y, keep in mind that they've both proven to be formidable action stars and huge draws in their own right.

With Snow White and the Huntsman, Charlize proved how good she can do bad, while Jessica's Zero Dark Thirty director helmed the original, so signing the Oscar nominee wouldn't be savvy just from a creative standpoint, but a business one as well.

They rarely get above the title billing, but these are two of Hollywood's most outstanding and talented actors, so it would be thrilling to see them take the reins of a big budget popcorn flick. 

Channing is Hollywood's current go-to-guy, so his name is always in the mix -- especially for action films. And there's something to be said for evening out the ages (look at Fast and the Furious). While Max Irons may not seem like a natural choice given the flop that was The Host, he oozes star quality and could really hold his own with Channing.
