Jennifer Lopez's Madre's

Though Jennifer Lopez is credited for reviving American Idol with her likable persona, not everything the triple threat touches turns to gold. Her Pasadena, California restaurant Madre's closed in 2008, but lasted over six years – not bad considering the average lifespan of other fellow failed celebrity restaurants.

Let's face it, do you really think of sumptuous food when you think of super skinny supermodels? Didn't think so. Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, Elle Macpherson and Naomi Campbell learned this the hard way when their restaurant Fashion Café shut down after only a few years.

Hulk Hogan's Pastamania, which opened at the Mall of America in Minnesota in 1995, featured cheesy dishes such as "Hulk-U's" and "Hulk-A-Roos". Not surprisingly, the restaurant closed in less than a year.

Eva Longoria's Beso

Eva Longoria's Sin City restaurant Beso filed for bankruptcy early this year to reportedly restructure upwards of $5.7 million in debt it managed to rack up in just over a year.

Britney Spears' Nyla

Britney Spears abandoned her Manhattan eatery Nyla in 2002, the same year the restaurant opened. Named for Brit's two favorite places, "NY" for New York and "LA" for Louisiana, the restaurant featuring dishes with a Cajun flair failed to ever take off.

Food Fail! Celebrity Restaurants That Went Bust

Although they're often blessed with both talent and ridiculously good looks, it's sometimes refreshing to see that celebs don’t succeed in everything – especially when it comes to the restaurant business. Celebs turned restaurateurs are notorious in Hollywood, and there's plenty of food fails even amongst the most popular of celebs. So check out these once-promising eateries that you definitely won't be dining at anytime soon!
