Frances McDormand Crashes John Boyega's Epic Met Gala Hang With Tiffany Haddish, Chadwick Boseman & More

The Oscar winner had a big night, and it seems to have worn her out.

Francis McDormand can (and does) party with the best of them!

Hours after showing up to the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, rocking an inexplicable and truly enormous Valentino floral headpiece, the Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri star had an apparently very exhausting night -- if a hilariously crazy clip John Boyega posted to Twitter is any indication.

Toward the end of the evening, Boyega pulled out his camera to film a quick video of himself, Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Tiffany Haddish, and Diddy, among others, all hanging out inside the black-tie event -- whose theme this year was "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination."

As they all cheer and celebrate like best friends at prom, a blonde-haired figure can be seen, just barely, slowly walking into the middle of their group. As the camera pans down, we can see it is, in fact, McDormand herself.

The Oscar winner is no longer rocking the enormous headpiece -- which looked like she was being swarmed by teal butterflies -- nor is she wearing her massive, ruffled turquoise cloak that she arrived in.

Instead, she's only in the canary yellow jumpsuit she was wearing underneath her more elaborate costuming -- and she also appears to have fallen asleep while hugging Lana Waithe.

What makes this moment so amazing -- other than the total and overwhelming amount of star power all hanging out together -- is that it wasn't even the most bizarre video McDormand was a part of, in relation to this year's Met Gala.

On Monday evening, Vogue posted a surreal video of McDormand dancing inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in full Valentino regalia, set to "Where's Your Head At" by Basement Jaxx.

McDormand really is the free-spirited fashion nymph that gives events like the Met Gala that sprinkle of magic they really need.

Check out the video below for a look at some of the night's other coolest looks.
