<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/elle-king" rel="">Elle King</a> is ready to unleash her new music!</p>

<p>The singer released her third studio album, <em>Come Get Your Wife, </em>on Friday, and recently opened up to ET's Rachel Smith all about her new music and life on the road as a new mom.</p>

<p>"I run my mouth a lot," King said with a laugh,&nbsp;by way of explaining the album's title.&nbsp;"I've had,&nbsp;you know, 12, 13 years of touring experience, knowing how to&nbsp;make jokes and poke fun at guys. I'm learning how to kind of reel it in... I am either very awkward, or sometimes a joke will land and sometimes jokes don't land."</p>

<p>"I was just, you know, making jokes, and somebody shouted over at me, you know, after&nbsp;too many jokes, too many shots, and said, 'Come get your wife!'" she added. "And I was like, 'Well, I'm gonna call the record that.' Because&nbsp;it's funny&nbsp;and like most things in my life, I have to find a way to find humor in it."</p>

<p>Poking fun at herself, the singer explained, has always been a coping mechanism for some of her own insecurities.</p>

<p>"I feel like, I don't look like most women.&nbsp;I definitely don't act like most even performers," she shared.&nbsp;"When I came into country music, I really thought that I was going to feel the opposite of what I felt... But everyone was like, 'Turn it up, we like you for you!'...&nbsp;I actually feel like I'm so much more comfortable, and I can kind of let my hair down."</p>

<p>King and fiancé&nbsp;Dan Tooker welcomed their first child, son Lucky, in September 2021. As her career has grown, the singer&nbsp;says she's felt blessed to have more and more women in her professional and touring circles, building her "community" as a working mom.</p>

<p>"Up until this year, I was always the only female on our tour. Now&nbsp;I have badass women touring with me and it's been a refreshing kind of difference," she raved. "You need&nbsp;people like that around you. And I always do really well with, you know, badass chicks."</p>

<p>She even gets new mom tips from fellow country stars!&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Last year, before we went on tour,&nbsp;so many moms&nbsp;were the first people to&nbsp;reach out," she shared. "Brandi Carlile&nbsp;literally started, like, a mom thread, so that people could text each other and [they] were so helpful to me."</p>

<p>However, that's not to say that the male members of King's band aren't ready to pitch in and help out with the baby.</p>

<p>"The sweetest thing is that sometimes I wake up, and the baby will be in the front [of the bus] with some of the band guys, because they'll come in and grab him if they hear him up, and&nbsp;they'll play with him," she shared.</p>

<p><em>Come Get Your Wife</em> includes King's single with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/miranda-lambert" rel="" target="_blank">Miranda Lambert</a>, "Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)," as well as a duet with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/dierks-bentley" rel="" target="_blank">Dierks Bentley</a>. And even though the singer admitted that it was "super nerve-wracking" reaching out to her famous friends to collaborate, she said this album feels like her most authentic yet.</p>

<p>"I'm learning to get out of the way," she explained. "Get out of my own way. Get out of my music’s way. And let things be. It's a nice feeling because I feel like I don't have to shoulder so much. I can just ride&nbsp;the ride, you know?"</p>

<p>"I'm just in the best place in my life," she added. "I'm in a loving relationship. And I have the best baby in the world."</p>

Elle King Dishes on New Album 'Come Get Your Wife' and Her Country Music Mom Group Chat (Exclusive)

<p>Your favorite cater waiters are back for <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/party-down" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Party Down</em></a> season 3!</p>

<p>Nearly 13 years after the cast of the fan-favorite Starz comedy threw their last bash, they're back for more --reuniting for six new star-studded episodes, which premiere Friday, Feb. 24.</p>

<p>The new season picks up in real time, with Ron Donald (Ken Marino) still working for Party Down catering -- and, apparently, living in the van -- while most of his former "crew" have moved on. When a chance reunion brings Henry Pollard (<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/adam-scott" rel="" target="_blank">Adam Scott</a>) back together with his former co-workers, plenty of laughs, spills and service industry drudgery ensue.</p>

'Party Down' Returns For Star-Studded Season 3: Watch the Trailer!

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/anne-heche" rel="" target="_blank">Anne Heche's</a> life and legacy will be explored in an upcoming documentary. ET's Will Marfuggi spoke with the late actress' best friend and podcast co-host, Heather Duffy, on Tuesday, who opened up about Heche's <a href="https://edit.etonline.com/anne-heches-posthumous-memoir-revelations-her-ellen-degeneres-relationship-history-of-abuse-and" rel="" target="_blank">posthumous memoir, <em>Call Me Anne</em></a><em>,</em> and the other ways she's committed to preserving her friend's memory.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We're working on a documentary,&nbsp;to really set the record straight and show her legacy, so, you know, the work continues," Duffy shared.&nbsp;"I'm determined that she's remembered with the respect that she deserves to be remembered with, because she didn't always have it while she was here. And she's going to have it&nbsp;now because she deserves it."</p>

<p>Duffy said she's working in connection with Heche's estate to develop the project, which will focus on her career, personal life&nbsp;and "the impact that she made on people."</p>

<p>"One of the things that was so remarkable [after] her accident is all the letters that I received from people who she impacted throughout her life," she shared.&nbsp;"Many, many young people&nbsp;that had the courage to come out to their parents because Anne was so open with with her love. And their parents admired Anne, as an actress or knew her from the soap opera that she was on, and&nbsp;so that&nbsp;gave them the courage to go to their parents, and it gave their parents, like, a more palatable way to see it, because they admired Anne so much."</p>

<p>"There was so many emails and messages that I received from those people who were telling their stories about how Anne kind of changed their path," Duffy&nbsp;continued.&nbsp;"It was bittersweet, because as I was reading them, [I thought how]&nbsp;she would have loved that -- that would have meant everything to her."</p>

<p>Heche&nbsp;was declared brain dead&nbsp;on Aug. 12, 2022, one week after she was involved in a fiery car crash in Los Angeles. She was 53.</p>

<p>The actress&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-heche-taken-off-life-support-peacefully-set-to-donate-organs-189070" rel="" target="_blank">was taken off of life support</a>&nbsp;days later, when recipients for her organs were identified. Shortly thereafter,&nbsp;the LA County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-heches-official-cause-of-death-revealed-189026" rel="" target="_blank">told ET</a>&nbsp;that Heche died as a result of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.</p>

<p>Duffy and Heche co-hosted the<em> </em><a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/better-together-w-anne-heche-and-heather-duffy/id1534627568" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Better Together </em>podcast</a>, on which they discussed friendship, relationships and more. And while Heche's tragic accident has left those close to her reeling, Duffy said she's confident she knows how her friend would want to be remembered.</p>

<p>"I've been training for this mission," she noted with a laugh. "She was a little bit&nbsp;humble about that...but&nbsp;it's moving the needle for LGBTQ+,&nbsp;it's living a life of honesty, it's leading with kindness, it's celebrating people's authentic selves and embracing that."</p>

<p>Additionally, Heche leaves behind her legacy as a "incredible mother" to her two sons:&nbsp;Homer, 20, and Atlas, 14.</p>

<p>"She was always there for her boys," Duffy said.&nbsp;"She loved them deeply and profoundly, and was always sad when she had to go out of town to work and miss them, but...&nbsp;she had a very deep sense of responsibility to that and tried to give her boys all the things that she wasn't able to have."</p>

<p><em>Call Me Anne</em> details Heche's life in the public eye -- including the scrutiny and blacklisting she faced for her very public relationship with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/ellen-degeneres" rel="" target="_blank">Ellen DeGeneres</a> in the late '90s. However, Duffy said that, despite everything, her friend lived life with no regrets.</p>

<p>"If she could go back and do it the exact same way, she would have," Duffy noted. "She was somebody that lived in such truth and such honesty that she didn't&nbsp;have a choice in the matter. She would never&nbsp;not choose honesty."</p>

<p>Heche's posthumous memoir, <em><a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-heches-posthumous-memoir-revelations-her-ellen-degeneres-relationship-history-of-abuse-and" rel="" target="_blank">Call Me Anne</a>,</em> is out now.</p>

Anne Heche's Best Friend Says a Documentary About the Late Actress Is in the Works (Exclusive)

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kelly-clarkson" rel="" target="_blank">Kelly Clarkson</a> is making her return to <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/the-voice" rel="" target="_blank"><em>The Voice</em></a> in season 23 -- and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/blake-shelton" rel="" target="_blank">Blake Shelton</a> is already sick of her shenanigans!</p>

<p>NBC shared a new promo for the upcoming season of their singing competition show on Tuesday, and it featured Blake pulling out all the stops for his final season -- including a massive sign in the shape of his signature "pick me" point!</p>

<p>The season features two new coaches, as <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/niall-horan" rel="" target="_blank">Niall Horan</a> and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/chance-the-rapper" rel="" target="_blank">Chance the Rapper</a> join the panel -- stepping in for <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/gwen-stefani" rel="" target="_blank">Gwen Stefani</a>&nbsp;and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/john-legend" rel="" target="_blank">John Legend</a> -- however it seems clear that the animosity between Kelly and Blake will once again be taking center stage.</p>

<p>"After 23 seasons..." Blake says in the promo, pitching himself to a potential team member before Kelly interrupts.</p>

<p>"He's so tired!" she chimes in with a laugh.</p>

<p>"I am tired," Blake concedes. "Tired of this!"</p>

<p>While Blake might be departing <em>The Voice </em>after the upcoming season, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/blake-shelton-says-hed-return-to-the-voice-as-gwen-stefanis-team-mentor-exclusive-195979" rel="" target="_blank">he told ET</a> at the season 22 finale that he believes&nbsp;Gwen will be back on the show in the future.</p>

<p>"But it will be the last time she and I do this together, and it is crazy to think of how the show changed my life," he said of meeting his wife on the reality competition. "I was&nbsp;so wrapped up in this that I didn't even think about that!"</p>

<p>So, could the country star ever see himself returning to&nbsp;<em>The Voice</em>&nbsp;-- possibly as a celeb mentor on his wife's team?</p>

<p>"Oh my god, I'd be honored to be Gwen's mentor," Blake shared.&nbsp;"Whatever she tells me to do, I'm gonna do."</p>

Blake Shelton Is Already 'Tired' of Kelly Clarkson in 'The Voice' Season 23 Promo

<p>Five months after <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/anne-heche" rel="" target="_blank">Anne Heche</a>&nbsp;died following&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-heche-dead-at-53-official-cause-of-death-ruled-a-timeline-of-her-fatal-car-crash-188785" rel="" target="_blank">a tragic car crash</a>,&nbsp;her second memoir gives a posthumous look at her life, loves and career.</p>

<p>In&nbsp;<em>Call Me Anne</em>, the follow-up to her 2001 book,&nbsp;<em>Call Me Crazy</em>, Heche writes about everything from her ups and downs&nbsp;in Hollywood&nbsp;to&nbsp;her highly publicized romance with&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/ellen-degeneres" rel="" target="_blank">Ellen DeGeneres</a>&nbsp;to the way her traumatic childhood shaped her as a mother.</p>

<p>"I was born into a family culture of abuse," Heche says in the book's opening lines. "It took years to come to terms with that, and honestly, it's a lifetime's work that will always be ongoing. This book is meant to give you a glimpse into that lifetime. It’s a guidebook to some of the lessons I’ve learned over time and contains suggestions about how to put those lessons into practice in your own life."</p>

<p>Heche&nbsp;was declared brain dead&nbsp;on Aug. 12, one week after she was involved in a fiery car crash in Los Angeles. She was 53.</p>

<p>The actress&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-heche-taken-off-life-support-peacefully-set-to-donate-organs-189070" rel="" target="_blank">was taken off of life support</a>&nbsp;days later, when recipients for her organs were identified. Shortly thereafter,&nbsp;the LA County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-heches-official-cause-of-death-revealed-189026" rel="" target="_blank">told ET</a>&nbsp;that Heche died as a result of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.</p>

<p>Earlier this month, her 20-year-old son, Homer, who&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-heches-son-homer-heche-laffoon-appointed-administrator-and-personal-representative-of-actress" rel="" target="_blank" title="appointed administrator and representative">has been appointed</a>&nbsp;administrator and personal representative of his late mom's estate,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/anne-heches-son-announces-her-posthumous-book-call-me-anne-196882" rel="" target="_blank">announced that&nbsp;<em>Call Me Anne&nbsp;</em>would be released</a>&nbsp;posthumously.</p>

<p>"My mom had a completed manuscript for a second book at the time of her passing. The book is the product of Mom's further efforts to share her story and to help others where she could," he wrote in part. "<em>Call Me Anne</em>&nbsp;is the result and I know she was excited to share with the world. So, Mom, here I am sharing it with the community you created, may it flourish and take on a life of its own, as you would have wanted."</p>

<p>Reach on for some of the most shocking revelations from <em>Call Me Anne</em>:</p>

<p><strong>Hollywood History</strong></p>

<p>Heche's Hollywood tales range from hilarious to harrowing, with the actress recounting her rejection of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/harvey-weinstein" rel="" target="_blank">Harvey Weinstein's</a>&nbsp;alleged crass hotel room offer to "suck this, and you'll get the job" with a hindsight regret that she didn't "kick him in the balls" at the time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>She remembers crawling under Oliver Stone's desk the first time they met -- shortly after she made the move to Los Angeles -- and&nbsp;peering up at him through the glass top to introduce&nbsp;herself. "I had no idea who he was then, but whoever he was, he didn't look up when I walked in the room, and that seemed rude," she writes.</p>

<p>And she recalls being threatened with legal action after&nbsp;<em>Wild Side</em>&nbsp;director Donald Cammell sexually harrassed her on set.</p>

<p>“I was maybe twenty-four years old. And a movie studio was going to sue me? It certainly didn’t make financial sense," she remembers. "I felt they meant they’d try to ruin me, by taking my dignity and telling the acting community that I was uncooperative on set, all because I wouldn’t finger Donald’s wife in his office, a necessary step, according to him, to test if I could pull off a convincing lesbian sex scene with the gorgeous Joan Chen."</p>

<p>Another one of Heche's early film roles was opposite <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/demi-moore" rel="" target="_blank">Demi Moore</a> and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/alec-baldwin" rel="" target="_blank">Alec Baldwin</a> in <em>The Juror.</em> In the book, the actress recalls a mortifying moment from filming a steamy sex scene with Baldwin that stayed with her for years afterward.</p>

<p>"The patch of underwear they gave me for filming was just shy of a Band-Aid. It was meant to cover me enough to keep the sex scene from being a little too realistic, without showing up on camera," she writes.</p>

<p>However, once she and Baldwin started getting hot and heavy, Heche recalled, the "Band-Aid" began to slip. What's worse, Heche had started her period, bleeding all over the sheets, herself and her co-star. The actress said&nbsp;she was mortified as the crew began cleaning up after her, but noted that Baldwin only grinned at her and said, "Let's make the next take hotter."</p>

<p>Years later, Heche invited Baldwin onto her podcast, and recounted the story -- only to realize he had no memory of the incident. "He only remembered that lunch was called early - he did not remember why. It's highly possible that your most embarrassing moments are way more monumental to you than anyone else," she shares.</p>

<p><strong>Coming Out</strong></p>

<p>Following public relationships with stars like Lindsay Buckingham and Steve Martin,&nbsp;Heche began a relationship with Ellen&nbsp;DeGeneres in&nbsp;1997 -- just after the comedian and talk show host's very public coming out on her sitcom and the cover of <em>Time</em> magazine.</p>

<p>However, while the couple was&nbsp;happy together, it wasn't smooth sailing as one of the first major gay celebrity couples in the Hollywood spotlight. Heche recalls being confronted with a meeting of four "suits" when she wanted to bring DeGeneres as her date to the <em>Volcano</em> premiere in 1997.</p>

<p>“The first time you experience discrimination in the eyes of the people who represent you is the moment you decide who you are as an artist," she writes.&nbsp;"I had already decided who I was as a person, but I hadn’t been confronted as an artist until this moment. I looked at Ellen. She looked at me, consoling, as if to say, 'It’s okay. Do this. We’ll deal with your conundrum over it when it’s over. I’ll be waiting for you at home.'"</p>

<p>"There’s not one moment that has defined my life more than that one. Anne, the artist, Anne, the daughter of a man who had hidden his sexuality—we’re all the same person," she continues.&nbsp;"I had no idea how much that one decision would impact my life and what I gave up for that decision."</p>

<p>Ultimately, the pair attended the premiere together, but Heche says they were swiftly ushered out of the theater when the movie ended, "led through a back entrance, and shoved into our limousine so that there would be no pictures of us taken at the afterparty. The next day, I was fired from a multi-million-dollar-picture deal by Fox, then blacklisted. It would be ten years before I did another studio picture. I felt like patient zero in the cancel culture."</p>

<p>Another incident came on the set of <em>Six Days, Seven Nights,</em> where Heche claims&nbsp;co-star Harrison Ford and director Ivan Reitman sat&nbsp;her down in her trailer to address the unwanted attention surrounding her relationship.</p>

<p>"Why can't you just be like Jodie Foster?" she alleges&nbsp;Reitman asking. "Everybody knows it, she just doesn't talk about it."</p>

<p>"I couldn’t imagine how many things Jodie Foster had chosen not to talk about, but I assumed they were talking specifically about a rumored sexual orientation she had, which she considered no one else’s business. And I agreed, then and now—it wasn’t," the actress writes.</p>

<p>However, Heche shares, the "most devastating thing" about the very public scrutiny of her sexuality and relationship with DeGeneres, was that "from the first week with Ellen to writing my first book....&nbsp;no one bothered to ask me about any of it."</p>

<p>"There was a void in the culture that—no matter how many articles were written about me—kept anyone from actually &nbsp;asking me to find out why I had done what I did," she continues. "What was the force that would have made a human being risk everything they’d been promised, their entire career so far, to make a decision that no one else had made so publicly before that time? Why? Why would I have done that?"</p>

<p>"Since nobody asked, I will tell you why. Because I had lived in a family that was built upon lies. My father hid his sexuality his entire life. When I met Ellen and she was open and honest about her sexuality, it was the most attractive and alluring quality in a person that I had ever seen," she writes. "I was mesmerized by her honesty, and that is why she was the first and only woman that I ever fell in love with."</p>

<p><strong>Childhood Struggle&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>Prior to her death, Heche spoke openly about her experience being sexually abused by her father,&nbsp;along with other adults around him. In the book, she writes that she was "born into a family culture of abuse,"&nbsp;adding that "it took years to come to terms with that, and honestly, it's&nbsp;a lifetime's work that will always be ongoing."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Heche describes her childhood family dynamic as a "sex cult,"&nbsp;writing that she was "physically, mentally, and verbally raped of my identity from the time I was a child."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Later, she elaborates on the specifics of her experience, saying, "My childhood memories include being locked in dark places, met with masked men and women in shadow so as to not be able to identify the abusers. You are only allowed to be seen in the light of the places the abusers choose, so that they may control the situation."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Heche’s father died of AIDS in 1983, a day before the <em>New York Times</em> wrote that the illness was a "gay disease," Heche remembers. The timing of the article&nbsp;outed her late father as gay to the family's&nbsp;church community, and they moved to&nbsp;Chicago shortly after.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In Chicago, Heche remembers performing in a school play that garnered the attention of a casting director, who asked her to screen test for a soap opera in New York.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I said, 'Absolutely!'&nbsp;(Beat, beat.),"&nbsp;Heche writes, before asking, "What's a soap opera?"&nbsp;</p>

<p>She explains that her family had never had a television in their home. Heche attended the screen test, but turned down the opportunity in order to stay with her mother. A few years later, though, a producer who remembered her from that soap opera&nbsp;audition coordinated her casting on <em>Another World</em>, for which she later earned an Emmy Award.&nbsp;</p>

Anne Heche's Posthumous Memoir Revelations: Her Ellen DeGeneres Relationship, History of Abuse and More

<p>In her upcoming memoir, <em>Love, Pamela,</em> <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/pamela-anderson" rel="" target="_blank">Pamela Anderson</a> opens up about the ups and downs of her life, loves and career -- including an upsetting incident that she claims happened on the set of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/home-improvement" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Home Improvement</em></a> in 1991.</p>

<p>Anderson played&nbsp;Lisa the Tool Girl on the first two seasons of the <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/tim-allen" rel="" target="_blank">Tim Allen</a>-led sitcom&nbsp;before departing to take on her breakout role on <em>Baywatch</em>. But it was on her first day of filming, when she was 23 years old, that she claims&nbsp;Allen welcomed her to set in a disturbing way.</p>

<p>"I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe. He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked.&nbsp;Now we’re even.&nbsp;I laughed uncomfortably,” she alleges in an excerpt published by <a href="https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/pam-anderson-tim-allen-flashed-penis-home-improvement-1235498326/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Variety</em></a>.</p>

<p>Allen&nbsp;was 37 at the time of the alleged incident. When ET reached out for comment, Allen denied Anderson's claim, saying, "No, it never happened.&nbsp;I would never do such a thing."</p>

<p>In addition to <em>Love, Pamela</em>, Anderson is also preparing for fans to see a new side of her story in a Netflix documentary,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.netflix.com/title/81590934" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Pamela, a love story</em></a>, which, like her memoir, debuts on Jan. 31.</p>

<p>The initial announcement, which was posted on social media, included a note from Anderson with a kiss print, which read, "My life, a thousand imperfections, a million misperceptions. Wicked, wild and lost, nothing to live up to. I can only surprise you. Not a victim, but a survivor -- alive to tell her real story."</p>

Pamela Anderson Claims Tim Allen Flashed Her on 'Home Improvement' Set, Actor Denies Allegation

<p><em><strong>Spoiler alert! Spoilers ahead for episode 2 of The Last of Us, titled "Infected."&nbsp;</strong></em></p>

<p>Sunday's episode of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/the-last-of-us" rel="" target="_blank"><em>The Last of Us</em></a><i>&nbsp;</i>kept the emotions coming as fans got to see one of the most heartbreaking deaths in the game canon play out onscreen.</p>

<p>Following her introduction as Joel's (<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/pedro-pascal" rel="" target="_blank">Pedro Pascal</a>) partner and companion in the premiere, Tess (Anna Torv) met her tragic end in episode 2, as she realized she had been infected and made the decision to sacrifice herself in order to save Joel and Ellie (<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/bella-ramsey" rel="" target="_blank">Bella Ramsey</a>) from a hoard of infected attackers.</p>

<p>Torv admitted to ET's Ash Crossan&nbsp;that she's "not a very good gamer" and didn't have much knowledge of <em>The Last of Us</em> prior to taking the role.&nbsp;She read the scripts and watched cutscenes from the video game to learn Tess'&nbsp;story, and worked with Pascal to develop their on-screen dynamic.</p>

<p>"Pedro and I talked a bit," she recalled. "We were both in agreement that these guys had been together for quite a long time, like years and years and years and years, and that they're partners in&nbsp;life. They&nbsp;work together and they're lovers and I think they might've had a good time... I think they're each other's best friend."</p>

<p>However, as a pair of survivors in post-apocalyptic Boston, the actress admitted that "there's&nbsp;not that many opportunities" to show the lighter side of the pair's relationship.</p>

<p>"You have to be true to the characters... There's no part of Joel that's touchy-feely. There's no part of Tess that's gonna be like, 'Let's have a deeper, meaningful [conversation]&nbsp;about where we're at.' There's no option to kind of show that, it would&nbsp;do a disservice to the game."</p>

<p>"So you kind of steal your minutes," she continued.&nbsp;"I mean, the first time you see them, Tess has been beat up, Joel's knocked himself out. She comes in and crawls into bed and he rolls over and she puts her arm around him and I think you kind of don't really need any more. That sort of just says it all,&nbsp;who they are to each other, in just that little gesture."</p>

<p>Despite her character's early&nbsp;and tragic&nbsp;fate, Torv said she never second-guessed taking on the role.</p>

<p>"I wanted to work with Pedro," she admitted with a laugh. "But,&nbsp;the very first question&nbsp;that I asked Craig was, 'Were you wanting to replicate [the game] or are you wanting a different thing?' He said, 'No,&nbsp;a different thing.'"</p>

<p>"Then when I went in for hair and wardrobe and the whole bit, I love that they&nbsp;aged her up," she added. "[The show] is&nbsp;its own thing. We get to make it our own."</p>

<p>In fact, as a non-gamer, the actress offered a unique perspective for fans who might find themselves upset at the ways the show's plot or characters occasionally deviate&nbsp;from the game.</p>

<p>"It's like a play, you know?" she said. "You have a really great play that gets put on in different cities, with different casts, and different actresses, and&nbsp;some productions lean this way or lean that way, but at the end, it's ultimately the same story and the same characters when they're well drawn."</p>

<p>"We had a couple of Tess'&nbsp;big, memorable lines still in it verbatim," she noted. "I didn't consciously want to be different or consciously want to be replicating...&nbsp;I don't even think it's interpretation, I just think it's through a different lens."</p>

<p><em>The Last of Us </em>debuts new episodes&nbsp;Sundays&nbsp;on HBO and HBO Max.</p>

'The Last of Us' Episode 2: Anna Torv on Tess's Fate and Working With Pedro Pascal (Exclusive)

<p>With the recent slate of musical biopics bringing real-life stories to the big screen, could a <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/spice-girls" rel="" target="_blank">Spice Girls</a> movie be in our future?</p>

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/mel-b" rel="" target="_blank">Mel B</a> isn't sure, but when the performer sat down with ET's Rachel Smith to talk about her upcoming appearance on the extreme reality show&nbsp;<em>Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, </em>she offered up a few casting&nbsp;ideas for&nbsp;who could play her&nbsp;and her fellow Spice Girls.</p>

<p>"I did just watch a movie called <em>The Woman King </em>with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/viola-davis" rel="" target="_blank">Viola Davis</a>, and I&nbsp;want to join that tribe," Mel said of who might take on her "Scary Spice" persona.&nbsp;"There's so many great actresses out there -- Viola Davis, Halle Berry, I mean, the list is endless."</p>

<p>Joking that it might be hard to find an actress to play her, "'cause it's a rollercoaster ride," Mel also offered up Angelina Jolie to play Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham and Kate Hudson or Goldie Hawn for Emma "Baby Spice" Bunton, before noting that her favorite option might be a group of unknown actresses.</p>

<p>As for the real Spice Girls, Mel promised that an announcement is coming soon about some sort of reunion that will involve all five original members of the group.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"COVID kind of set everything back," she shared. "I&nbsp;can't tell you exactly, but there's gonna be something that is gonna be announced pretty soon... That's gonna be a project that we're very excited about, and [it's] mainly for our fans."&nbsp;</p>

<p>For now, she's taking on a brand new kind of challenge on&nbsp;<em>Special Forces: World's Toughest Test,&nbsp;</em>which brings together 16 celebrities to endure real-life military training tests.</p>

<p>"I've been asked to do it a few times, but&nbsp;I&nbsp;just wasn't ready for it then," Mel said of the competition show, which is based on a U.K.&nbsp;series. She told ET that now felt like the right time to take on the physical challenge as she continues her emotional-healing journey.</p>

<p>"I was in a really horrendous, 10-year&nbsp;abusive relationship, and I'm seven years out of that now," she shared. "This was me deciding to do it for my reasons, for myself, and for all the other survivors out there to show that... you can have gone through all that stuff, but you can come out of it the other side.&nbsp;You still have the scars to show, you still get PTSD,&nbsp;but you are still you,&nbsp;the essence. That abuse cannot take away your essence."</p>

<p>"I'm proving a lot to myself, and I wanted&nbsp;to see where that person is before all that abuse happened, and she was right here and she's getting better," she continued. "She is in me, I'm getting more stronger, more confident... Also, most importantly, I'm&nbsp;raising three girls and I wanted to let them know -- don't stand for abuse, look how badass you can still be."</p>

<p>Mel admitted that some of the&nbsp;<em>Special Forces&nbsp;</em>challenges were particularly triggering for her -- for example, being yelled at by boot camp instructors or the controlling&nbsp;routines around dress and behavior -- but said she left the show feeling more powerful than ever.</p>

<p>"I walked away from there like I could conquer the world," she recalled.&nbsp;"I&nbsp;felt like Goliath.&nbsp;I&nbsp;walked away so empowered and so proud of myself."</p>

<p>She also left the show with a host of new, unexpected friendships with some of her fellow competitors, including <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/jamie-lynn-spears" rel="" target="_blank">Jamie Lynn Spears</a>.</p>

<p>"I love her," Mel&nbsp;raved.&nbsp;"She's got so much going on, but she's so together and so relatable. She's just a very honest person -- what you see is what you get."</p>

<p>"I&nbsp;got to know everybody really well, and I just adored everyone," she added. "I&nbsp;avoid group WhatsApp chats, but I've made one for this group and we're constantly in touch with each other -- from Dr. Drew to Dwight [Howard] to Carli [Lloyd] and Nastia [Liukin]. What we went through together -- because it's only us lot going through it --&nbsp;it's really bonded all of us.&nbsp;I've left with, like, a new family."</p>

<p><em>Special Forces: World's Toughest Test </em>airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. PT/ET&nbsp;on Fox.</p>

Mel B Reveals Her Dream Casting for a Spice Girls Biopic and Gives a Reunion Update (Exclusive)

<p>The cast of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/movies/80-for-brady" rel="" target="_blank"><em>80 For Brady</em></a> are living legends in their own right, but even they can get a little starstruck from time to time!</p>

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/jane-fonda" rel="" target="_blank">Jane Fonda</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/lily-tomlin" rel="" target="_blank">Lily Tomlin</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/rita-moreno" rel="" target="_blank">Rita Moreno</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/sally-field" rel="" target="_blank">Sally Field</a>&nbsp;sat down with ET's Nischelle Turner this week to dish all about their upcoming film -- and the major football star at the center of it all.</p>

<p>"Oh yeah, his presence just filled up the whole trailer and I got weak in the knees," Fonda said of working alongside <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/tom-brady" rel="" target="_blank">Tom Brady</a> on the comedy. "He was so sweet."</p>

<p>While Fonda was getting trailer visits, Field said she positioned herself as the "welcoming committee" on set -- in part, because she's a big football fan.</p>

<p>"I didn't want them to feel- you know, they're coming on our turf now," she noted of the NFL stars who came to set for cameos. "I would feel really scared if I were going on a football field and playing football. So I stood out there and welcomed them and drove up and said, 'Hi, I’m Sally. Can I get you some coffee?'"</p>

<p>Perhaps not everyone was as into Brady as Fonda, but the actresses did all confess to some "weak in the knees" moments they've had in the past -- poking plenty of fun at each other in the process.</p>

<p>"We have knee issues anyway," Field joked.</p>

<p>"Boy, do I have bad knees," Moreno agreed. "It has nothing to do with Tom Brady."</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.etonline.com/movies/west-side-story" rel="" target="_blank"><em>West Side Story</em></a>&nbsp;star did concede, however, that she'd been swept away in the past by stars like Burt Reynolds and, of course, her famous beau Marlon Brando. "He was pretty fabulous," she admitted.</p>

<p>"I worked with Paul Newman," Field chimed in.&nbsp;"Trust me, that wasn't easy to&nbsp;go in to read with Paul and act like you knew what you were doing."</p>

<p>The quartet also couldn't help but gush about each other and the friendships that they forged even stronger while making <em>80 For Brady.</em></p>

<p>"Jane literally is one person in my life -- and I don’t have many, admittedly --&nbsp; who would not let me go," Field shared. "I’m just absolutely&nbsp;the recluse of the group, and Jane just won't take no for an answer. Every time I've had to talk about Jane, I end up crying, because it has&nbsp;been so incredibly important to me to have Jane in my life."</p>

<p>For her part, Fonda said she'd been "fascinated" with Field since the 1970s and&nbsp;"I just decided that I’m going to be her friend,&nbsp;she's going to be my friend, and that's all there is to it."</p>

<p>"I mean, I watched every performance multiple times of hers. I’ve seen her on Broadway, asked her how she did that," she recalled. "Now I got to see her [act in person].&nbsp;I mean, it's a very different kind of film.&nbsp;But I got to see her create a character and bring it to life, and it&nbsp;was&nbsp;really special."</p>

<p>The group said they&nbsp;even found meaningful moments in their less friendly exchanges on set -- with Fonda recalling one scene in which she pushed Moreno a bit too far.</p>

<p>"We were all working together and everybody had to move very fast and be in the right place at the right time... Having worked seven years with Lily, I was used to kind of pushing her around&nbsp;if she was a little bit off her mark," Fonda remembered of the tense moment. "Rita was, there was a problem, she wasn't moving fast enough to her seat so that then Lily could come, so I pulled on her jacket and I think I pushed her at one point..."</p>

<p>"And I was offended," Moreno chimed in.</p>

<p>"[Over]&nbsp;the weekend, she sent me a text and she said, 'Not on my watch. I am 90 years old, you do not treat me like that. This is a film about women's friendship and that will not stand, that kind of behavior.&nbsp;You cannot push me and you cannot do that,'" Fonda recalled.&nbsp;"And I was just like, oh that is so great, because you know what a guy would have done? He would've harbored a grudge."</p>

<p>"Or hit you," Field noted.</p>

<p>"She got it out and she didn't harbor it for the whole [movie], you know?" Fonda praised, with Moreno agreeing that it was all about "respect."</p>

<p><em>80 For Brady</em>&nbsp;is in theaters Feb. 3.</p>
