<p>The fate of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/tj-holmes" rel="" target="_blank">T. J. Holmes</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/amy-robach" rel="" target="_blank">Amy Robach</a>&nbsp;at&nbsp;ABC has been decided. After a <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tj-holmes-and-amy-robach-are-in-mediation-with-abc-execs-amid-gma3-hiatus-198031" rel="" target="_blank">mediation session on Thursday</a>, the two are officially&nbsp;out at <em>GMA3&nbsp;</em>and ABC News.</p>

<p>A spokesperson for ABC News tells ET in a statement, "After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions."</p>

<p>Three sources told ET earlier that while exit agreements have not been signed on the dotted line, Holmes would&nbsp;not return to ABC, but Robach's future at the network was&nbsp;still unclear at the time.</p>

<p>"No one wanted it to come to this, but derogatory information just kept coming up. Once the investigation went several weeks, most people knew that this would be the outcome," a source&nbsp;told&nbsp;ET. "T.J. will get a payout. Ties are severed." The&nbsp;source added,&nbsp;"T.J.'s issues got all the headlines but Amy is no angel."</p>

<p>Another source told ET that Robach&nbsp;has always been professional and has taken her work and job very seriously. Regarding one report suggesting Robach&nbsp;had liquor in her office and drank on the job, the source explained, "It’s common to have drinks while on assignment, and or be gifted items that are more adult in nature from various entities.&nbsp;But the idea she was drinking on the job and showing up to work intoxicated is absurd. If that was the case, her behavior would've shown through several years ago. It’s a shock to hear all the allegations being leveled at Amy, when all she is really at fault for is falling for her colleague."</p>

<p><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/01/27/tj-holmes-amy-robach-out-leaving-gma3-abc/" rel="" target="_blank">TMZ</a>&nbsp;first broke the news, reporting that&nbsp;both anchors would receive payouts per their contracts after the "extremely contentious" mediation, with ABC reps accusing Holmes and Robach of various forms of misconduct.&nbsp;</p>

<p>ET spoke to Law &amp; Crime President Rachel Stockman, who said that non-disclosure agreements are typical in settlements.</p>

<p>"It&nbsp;is typical, usually if there is some kind of payout,&nbsp;you would sign in many cases a non-disclosure agreement in those agreements -- basically there's been a lot of talk about them in the media but prevent you from talking about exactly what the settlement is," Stockman said. "So in a situation like this, I would think it would be pretty typical that there would be an NDA involved, but I do want to point out that this case really does come down to the morality clause in each of their contracts, and that's going to&nbsp;be the sticking point, right, on whether they're going to&nbsp;get a settlement or how much of the contract they're still going&nbsp;have to pay out, the network.</p>

<p>"A morality&nbsp;clause, it's basically a provision in a contract that a lot of talent have, and the executives have, that employers have a right to end your contract in the event that you do something that might reflect badly on the company," she continued. "Basically it does allow a little bit of gray area for both the employee and the employer because what exactly is it to look unfavorable for your company? How far do you have to go for it to be a violation of the morality clause? That's the question."</p>

<p>Stockman said she didn't think the settlement would hurt Holmes and Robach's ability to get hired elsewhere.</p>

<p>"I don't know how much this has hurt their hireability because I think a lot of people you talk to will say, 'You know what? Affairs happen in the workplace,'" she noted. "Maybe it wasn't handled correctly and clearly we don't see the results yet of the internal investigation so there could certainly be things we don't know.&nbsp;However, I do think their kind of behavior is something that some employers are going to&nbsp;be able to look past and perhaps hire them for other positions on-air or elsewhere."</p>

<p>Holmes, 45, and Robach, 49, made headlines in November when&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/good-morning-america-hosts-amy-robach-and-tj-holmes-romance-revealed-after-pda-pics-surface-195203" rel="" target="_blank">they were spotted showing PDA</a>, making their once-secret romance public. At the time, the&nbsp;<em>GMA3</em>&nbsp;anchors were <a href="https://www.etonline.com/amy-robach-and-tj-holmes-inside-their-on-air-chemistry-and-a-timeline-of-their-marriages-195228" rel="" target="_blank">each married to their respective partners.</a> &nbsp;</p>

<p>A source would later reveal that Holmes, who is&nbsp;married to Marilee Fiebig, and Robach who is&nbsp;married to Andrew Shue, had separated from their spouses over the summer.</p>

<p>The couple -- who sat beside each other at the anchor desk daily on weekdays&nbsp;since 2020 -- were initially only&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tj-holmes-and-amy-robach-are-temporarily-taken-off-air-from-gma3-after-romance-is-revealed-195441" rel="" target="_blank">temporarily taken off the air</a>&nbsp;when their romance became public, with a source telling ET that ABC News president Kim Godwin addressed the relationship in an editorial meeting, saying their relationship "is not a violation of company policy."</p>

<p>That being said, the source said Godwin made the decision to take them off the air "while we figure this out."</p>

<p>Holmes and Robach have&nbsp;been off the air ever since,&nbsp;and in the weeks that followed, Holmes and Robach&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/amy-robach-and-tj-holmes-spotted-traveling-together-over-the-holidays-196482" rel="" target="_blank">traveled together</a>&nbsp;for the holidays, and Holmes&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tj-holmes-files-for-divorce-from-marilee-fiebig-amid-romance-with-amy-robach-196560" rel="" target="_blank">filed for divorce</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Tuesday, a source revealed to ET that&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tj-holmes-and-amy-robach-investigation-at-abc-continues-no-one-knows-their-fates-source-says-197886" rel="" target="_blank">ABC's inquiry&nbsp;into the pair's relationship</a> hadn't reached a resolution and was "still ongoing."</p>

<p>"There is still no clear determination as to when the findings will be released, especially with the constant accusations being tossed T.J.'s way, and higher ups want to make sure all accusations are being addressed and taken seriously," the source explained at the time. The news&nbsp;came amid a new report alleging Holmes had an affair with a script coordinator at ABC who was more than a decade younger than him, after <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tj-holmes-had-affair-with-a-third-woman-sources-say-195625" rel="" target="_blank">multiple alleged workplace affairs were previously reported.</a>&nbsp;</p>

<p>The source continued, "That being said, it is business as usual for everyone at ABC. Everything has returned to normal as it can be at this time, but there is still an unsettling feeling in the air. No one knows where the investigation will lead or what Amy or T.J.’s fates ultimately will be. Everyone just wants this investigation wrapped up soon so that the production and all involved can finally move on."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Another source told ET, "This third staffer was no secret to most ABC employees, especially those at&nbsp;<em>GMA</em>&nbsp;who worked closely with her during that time. The question now is, will this latest revelation speed up the investigation and force ABC to decide T.J. and Amy's fates sooner rather than later?"</p>

<p>Another source maintained&nbsp;Robach did nothing wrong, and any probe into her is separate from these allegations against Holmes.</p>

<p>"While she continues her relationship with T.J., she very much remains focused on her career and children," the second source said. "The allegations against T.J. have nothing to do with her."</p>

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach Are Out at 'GMA3,' ABC News Confirms

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/rita-ora" target="_blank">Rita Ora</a>'s new single, "You Only Love Me," just dropped, and has us feeling all the feels. The track, which features a voice note from Ora's husband,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/taika-waititi" target="_blank">Taika Waititi</a>, was inspired by Ora's&nbsp;personal experience of feeling vulnerable at the start of her romantic journey with the&nbsp;<em>Thor: Love and Thunder</em>&nbsp;director.</p>

<p>The video opens with Ora receiving video messages from the likes of&nbsp;several celebs, including Chelsea Handler, Lindsay Lohan, Jodie Turner-Smith&nbsp;Kristen Stewart, Addison Rae and more, before Waititi's voice interrupts the singer's serene slumber. "Rits, it's me," he says before she abruptly awakens from her dream to a&nbsp;bevy of overzealous&nbsp;bridesmaids who descend upon her&nbsp;as she dons&nbsp;her vintage Yves Saint Laurent&nbsp;wedding gown from 1987.</p>

<p>A&nbsp;hyperreal mesh of&nbsp;<em>Stepford Housewives </em>and&nbsp;<em>Alice in Wonderland</em>, the video takes a wild turn as Ora's big day is turned tumultuously upside-down -- even with an assist from her "fairy godmother," Sharon Stone. From a minuscule wedding cake to a catfight in the limo, the nuptials are brought to an abrupt halt when Ora and her bridesmaids see that the venue, a castle, is on fire.</p>

<p>"With 'You Only Love Me' and my upcoming album, I wanted to capture the vulnerability I've experienced as I opened myself up to love and entered a new phase of life," Ora said in a statement. "Learning to let go of the past to make way for new experiences is a deeply personal process, and one I felt compelled to document through my music - the journey was not always easy, but I've come out of it stronger and filled with more love than I ever thought possible."</p>

<p>On Friday, the 32-year-old singer confirmed that she and the 46-year-old filmmaker <a href="https://www.etonline.com/rita-ora-marries-taika-waititi-reports-185424" rel="" target="_blank" title="reportedly tied the knot">tied the knot</a><a href="https://www.etonline.com/rita-ora-marries-taika-waititi-reports-185424" rel="" target="_blank"> in August</a>. During an appearance on&nbsp;<a href="https://etcanada.com/news/963156/rita-ora-confirms-marriage-to-taika-waititi-gushes-over-perfect-wedding/" rel="" target="_blank">Heart Radio Breakfast</a>, Ora&nbsp;told listeners that she is&nbsp; "officially off the market," and described her wedding day as "perfect" and "special."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I chose to keep it more private and keep it to myself more but with my new video I am playing on what could have been," she added.</p>

<p>Previously, the singer kept mum when asked about the wedding rumors, but she never missed a chance&nbsp;to gush over her partner. Rita Ora Confirms Marriage to Taika Waititi, Drops Wedding-Inspired 'You Only Love Me' Music Video

<p>In another world,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/nia-long" target="_blank">Nia Long</a>&nbsp;was part of the iconic trio in the&nbsp;<em>Charlie's Angels</em>&nbsp;franchise. But in this world, the&nbsp;<em>Best Man</em>&nbsp;actress was rejected from the role due to her "sophisticated" eyebrows and age.</p>

<p id="mntl-sc-block_1-0-2">The subject was brought&nbsp;up during&nbsp;a recent&nbsp;interview with&nbsp;<em><a data-component="link" data-ordinal="1" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="externalLink" href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/nia-long-boyz-n-the-hood-will-smith-turned-down-charlies-angels-195638684.html" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Yahoo! Entertainment</a></em>.&nbsp;Long cleared up&nbsp;an internet rumor that she passed on a starring role in&nbsp;<em>Charlie's Angels</em>&nbsp;to make&nbsp;Martin Lawrence's&nbsp;<em>Big Momma's House&nbsp;</em>instead, explaining that the decision&nbsp;wasn't exactly her choice.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"<em>Charlie's Angels&nbsp;</em>did not want me because they said I looked too sophisticated and too old next to Drew Barrymore," Long&nbsp;told the outlet. Barrymore, 47, is five years younger than Long, 52.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Lucy Liu, who was eventually cast in the role, is two years older than Long.</p>

"When I went back and looked at it, I was like, 'Whoa, she's really doing some stunts.' I don't know if I was quite ready for that... You can't do everything, and every opportunity isn't for you. And as much as it would've been fun to play that character, I think&nbsp;<em>Big Momma's House</em>&nbsp;was probably more fun for me."</p>

<p>Barrymore, who produced the film with her partner, Nancy Juvonen, under their production company, Flower Films, took the time to address&nbsp;the reveal during Long's appearance on her talk show, which airs on Friday. In&nbsp;a sneak peek at the episode<i>, </i>the actors both note that they're people who "can't sweep anything under the carpet" before Long recounts the audition rejection for the host.</p>

<p>"I go and I audition&nbsp;and, first of all, I was so excited to meet you...and it went really well," she recalls. "So, I go and I audition, then you go home and you wait and you hope to get the response, which is, 'You're going to get the job.' I didn't get the job. It's OK, it happens. But the feedback was, 'My eyebrows were too sophisticated and I looked too old next to Drew.' And I was like, 'What?' It just was an odd way of saying you didn't get the job."</p>

<p>She continues,&nbsp;"Now that I'm older and wiser and we've been in this business for a long time, I think what was happening during that time is there were all these conversations about diversity, but people weren't really pulling the trigger. I don't think this has anything to do with you or your partner or your film company, I think this is just a result of the fear of really putting a Black woman into a film that never cast anyone Black. It was a first time for them."</p>

<p>"There was this initiative to cast more Black women, have more Black women on set, but Hollywood wasn't quite doing it," Long adds.&nbsp;"Because I remember during that time, I actually auditioned for so many roles that weren't written [for] Black&nbsp;[actors], to the point where I was exhausted. It was almost like, 'Bring the Black girls in [and]&nbsp;bring the Black actors in&nbsp;so we can say that we did it, but we're not going to necessarily pull the trigger.'"</p>

<p>"So, what I will say now is things have changed a little. I thank God for producers like you because I know you're aware and you're sensitive to it because you're having the conversation," she says to Barrymore.</p>

<p>Barrymore reveals that she and Juvonen&nbsp;"almost felt nervous and bad" when they realized two-thirds&nbsp;of the Angels were white.</p>

<p>"We were like, 'Oh god,&nbsp;that doesn't feel right for us,'" she shares.&nbsp;"And the original <em>Charlie's Angels</em>&nbsp;were all white women... I mean, there was no diversity there. Let's call that out. And we felt the exact opposite, and this was in 1999 when those conversations were not being had and it was really her and I who championed the fact that like, OK,&nbsp;we love our Angels&nbsp;so far, but now what?"</p>

<p>She explains that when they presented themselves as producers for the film, all the pitches for the main trio were diverse, and "that was just something that felt right in our guts at the time. And, it's bewildering to me that someone would say those things."</p>

<p>"I'm 101 percent&nbsp;positive that it came from a studio exec that has no concept of understanding the importance of diversity, let alone what you stand for because you've been in this game, Drew, for a very long time," Long assures&nbsp;her. "And I know your heart and I see your show and I know who you are. So this was never anything I took personally at all. But I'm glad we're having the conversation because Black women and white women -- women period --&nbsp;we need to talk, we need to stay in communication. Because&nbsp;at the end of the day, it's hard for all women in this industry. I don't care who you are."</p>

<p>"It's harder for [Black women], there [are] less roles, there's less diversity, but if we don't talk to each other, we [can't] have a show and create something with each other," she adds.&nbsp;"We have to keep the dialogue going, so, I appreciate you being brave enough to have this conversation."</p>

<p>Despite that rejection ages ago, Long&nbsp;has had a lot to celebrate career-wise. Nia Long Recounts 'Charlie's Angels' Rejection for Franchise Producer Drew Barrymore

<p>Fans of Rick Riordan's <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/percy-jackson" target="_blank"><em>Percy Jackson</em></a>&nbsp;novels have a lot to look forward to. Almost a decade after the second and final installment of the film series premiered in theaters, the books are being adapted for a Disney+ series,&nbsp;<em>Percy Jackson and the Olympians</em>.</p>

<p>This time around, Riordan is intimately involved with the adaptation's production; the author <a href="https://rickriordan.com/2021/07/vroom-vroom-in-the-writers-room/" rel="" target="_blank">revealed in a blog post</a> that he&nbsp;serves&nbsp;as executive producer, co-writing the pilot episode and&nbsp;creating a series bible for the series with co-showrunner Jonathan E. Steinberg, as well as planning the plot for the first season and creating ideas for potential future seasons. So now, fans are not only getting a second chance at fully immersing themselves in Riordan's magical world, but they're doing so with the author's full permission!</p>

<p>It also doesn't hurt that the series is shaping up to have an impressively stacked cast. The stars of the upcoming series are being gradually announced, but it&nbsp;already boasts a blend of new faces and notably well-known stars.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Before we get ahead of ourselves, here's a guide to everything we know about <em>Percy Jackson and the Olympians</em>, including a look at the growing&nbsp;cast and whether fans will see actors from the previous installments involved in the project.</p>

<h2>Differences Between Percy Jackson Films and the Disney+ Series</h2>

<p>Riordan has never been shy to express how he&nbsp;felt about the movies adapted from his books. The author has always been honest about never having seen the two Logan Lerman-led films but says he doesn't need to&nbsp;know they're not his&nbsp;<em>Percy Jackson</em>.</p>

<p>Two years ago,&nbsp;a fan tweeted Riordan asking if a scene in 2010's&nbsp;<em>Percy Jackson &amp; the Olympians: The Lightning Thief</em>&nbsp;had been censored for streaming. "They should censor the entire thing,"&nbsp;<a href="https://twitter.com/rickriordan/status/1269945397293780995" target="_blank">Riordan replied in a since-deleted tweet</a>. "Just two hours of blank screen." (A sequel,&nbsp;<em>Percy Jackson:&nbsp;</em><em>Sea of Monsters</em>, was released in 2013.)</p>

<p>"I judge them from having read the scripts, because I care most about the story," he added. "I certainly have nothing against the very talented actors. Not their fault. I'm just sorry they got dragged into that mess."</p>

<p>Riordan's five-book series centers on Perseus "Percy" Jackson,&nbsp;a 12-year-old boy who discovers he's the son of a Greek god. Percy was aged up to a teenager in the films to suit Lerman's older look but the series has stuck to the book's depiction of the titular hero.</p>

<p>Much like the first film, the series' first season will closely follow the first book, in which Percy&nbsp;winds up at a summer camp for fellow demigods and&nbsp;learns more about his lineage and how to use his newfound powers.&nbsp;And when Percy is framed for stealing Zeus'&nbsp;lightning bolt,&nbsp;he and his friends embark on a frantic journey to find the real thief to prevent an all-out war between the gods.</p>

<p>"The filming has followed the book story very closely, almost as if the author were involved himself!"&nbsp;<a href="https://rickriordan.com/2022/08/back-on-set-with-the-demigod-squad/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Riordan wrote in an Aug. 13 blog post</a>. "Sure, there are small tweaks and changes here and there, which were mutually agreed upon, but the biggest difference is the 'value added.' You will get peeks at character backstory, foreshadowing Easter eggs of things to come, and nuances in Percy's family history that I think you will love."</p>

<p>"The neat thing about revisiting this tale, almost 20 years after I first wrote it, is that I get to address some of the questions that fans have asked me over the years: 'What does this mean?' 'Why does this happen the way it does?' 'What would happen if —?' It's been really satisfying and fun," he added.</p>

<h2><em>Percy Jackson and the Olympians </em>Cast</h2>

<p>The&nbsp;Disney+ show features&nbsp;a healthy mix of newer actors --&nbsp;many of whom will play the kids at Camp Half-Blood --&nbsp;and seasoned stars.</p>

<p>Riordan announced that the search <a href="https://rickriordan.com/2021/04/preliminary-casting-call-for-percy-jackson/" rel="" target="_blank">for the next Percy Jackson</a> had begun last April.&nbsp;A year later, the author shared that&nbsp;<em>The Adam Project</em>'s&nbsp;Walker Scobell snagged <a href="https://rickriordan.com/2022/04/meet-percy-jackson/" rel="" target="_blank">the role of the titular hero</a>.&nbsp;"It was obvious to me and the rest of the team that Walker had the perfect mix of comedic timing, sweetness, rebelliousness, snark and heroism to embody our hero Percy Jackson," Riordan wrote in a blog post.</p>

<p>At D23, Scobell described his Percy as "witty, sarcastic, and hot headed." "I promise you, I will always try my hardest every single day to bring Percy Jackson to life for all of us," he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A month later, <a href="https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/percy-jackson-disney-plus-series-cast-aryan-simhadri-grover-leah-sava-jeffries-annabeth-1235259060/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Variety</em></a> announced that the&nbsp;show's central&nbsp;trio was rounded out with&nbsp;Leah Sava Jeffries and&nbsp;Aryan Simhadri,&nbsp;who will <a href="https://www.etonline.com/percy-jackson-author-and-alexandra-daddario-support-leah-sava-jeffries-after-racist-backlash-over" rel="" target="_blank">portray&nbsp;Annabeth Chase</a> and&nbsp;Grover Underwood, respectively.&nbsp;</p>

"Leah is exactly the way I imagined Annabeth in the books: smart, strong, and courageous, a true daughter of Athena who has zero patience for the foolishness of a certain Seaweed Brain. Watching her act with Walker and Aryan, I saw Annabeth Chase come to life. As soon as you see her on the screen, you will know what I mean. The Wise Girl has arrived!"</p>

<p>Annabeth is the brilliant strategist and daughter of the Greek goddess Athena who teams up with Percy at Camp Half-Blood and beyond.&nbsp;Jeffries described her&nbsp;Annabeth as "a daughter of wisdom" who is smart, nice, supportive, and a great sword fighter, but you have to impress her to get in her circle.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Of Simhadri, <a href="https://rickriordan.com/2022/05/the-trio-is-complete/" rel="" target="_blank">Riordan wrote</a> that he "had me laughing out loud with his delivery and timing. He has a mixture of sweetness, humor, and internal toughness that is perfect for our favorite satyr."</p>

<p>Simhadri described Grover as "the protector of the group" who guides Percy and Annabeth through their adventures.&nbsp;</p>

<p><em>Boardwalk Empire</em>'s Virginia Kull will star in the series&nbsp;as Percy's&nbsp;mom, Sally, whom Riordan said "moved us to tears" with her performance at&nbsp;<a href="https://rickriordan.com/2022/06/pjotv-day-one/" rel="" target="_blank">the table read for the first episode</a>. She'll share the screen alongside&nbsp;Timm Sharp, who will play Percy's stepfather, "Smelly" Gabe&nbsp;Ugliano.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Olivea Morton has been cast as Nancy Bobofit, Percy's tormentor at Yancy Academy.<em>&nbsp;The Flash</em>'s&nbsp;Jessica Parker Kennedy will portray Medusa, the snake-haired gorgon&nbsp;wronged by the gods&nbsp;who tries to turn Percy and his friends into stone.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Adam Copeland, better known as WWE Hall of Famer Edge, joins the cast as&nbsp;Ares, the belligerent god of war.&nbsp;Riordan gave Copeland a glowing endorsement,&nbsp;<a href="https://rickriordan.com/2022/10/more-casting-news-for-pjotv/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">writing</a>, "I knew Adam was our Ares as soon as I saw his audition tape. He absolutely nailed it... This guy IS Ares the way I imagined him in the Percy Jackson series. He obviously knew the part, loved it, and was having WAY too much fun being the god of war. He even got a Harley-Davidson motorcycle so he could practice riding and get into character. That is commitment! Can't wait to see him go mano a mano with Percy Jackson? Me neither!"</p>

<p><em>Straight Man</em>'s Suzanne Cryer plays Echidna, the so-called Mother of Monsters described&nbsp;as "dangerous, intimidating, and strangely maternal."</p>

<p>Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of&nbsp;<em>Hamilton</em>&nbsp;and composer behind Disney's&nbsp;<em>Encanto</em>, will play&nbsp;Hermes, the god of messengers, commerce, and thieves. Hermes isn't supposed to appear until the second book,&nbsp;<em>The Sea of Monsters</em>, but Riordan&nbsp;<a href="https://rickriordan.com/2022/11/welcome-god-of-travelers/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">explained in a blog post</a>&nbsp;that fans will understand why he was introduced early&nbsp;"when you see the episode in question."&nbsp;</p>

<p>The author said that after writing Hermes into the show, he couldn't get Miranda's voice out of his head, and reached out to him about playing the character, assuming it was a long shot. "I knew he would be the perfect person to bring Hermes to life in all his complex glory," Riordan wrote, adding that Miranda "delivered a performance that ignites the screen."</p>

<p>Jay Duplass and Timothy Omundsen are the most recent additions to the cast, with <a href="https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/percy-jackson-disney-plus-series-cast-jay-duplass-timothy-omundson-1235437039/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Variety</em></a> announcing their inclusion earlier this month.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Duplass will play Hades, the god of the Underworld. Per the official character description, "Hades feels like an outcast from his family and a misunderstood genius. He holds a grudge for past wrongs and plays his cards close to the chest."</p>

<p>Omundson will play Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths. "Hephaestus became disabled when he was thrown off Mount Olympus as a babe," his character description states, per <em>Variety</em>. "Despite that, his strength is legendary, and his capacity for kindness and mercy sets him apart from his brothers and sisters in the dog-eat-dog world of the gods."</p>

<p>On Jan. 26, it was announced that Lance Reddick and&nbsp;Toby Stephens have been&nbsp;cast as&nbsp;Zeus and&nbsp;Poseidon, respectively.</p>

<p>"Lance is the perfect actor to channel his personality," Riordan <a href="https://rickriordan.com/2023/01/the-council-is-complete-for-now/" rel="" target="_blank">wrote for his blog</a>. "In all his roles, Lance projects an aura of authority and power that makes him perfect for the king of Olympus. As I told him when we met, he has so much gravitas he could pull planets out of alignment, and when he makes his displeasure known to Percy Jackson . . . wow, wait until you see that scene. If you were Zeus, king of the gods, and you could be anyone you wanted, you would definitely choose to be Lance Reddick."</p>

<p>Riordan described Stephens&nbsp;as "an unstoppable force in his own right,"&nbsp;adding, "When we finally meet Poseidon toward the end of season one (just as we do in the book), Toby is incredible on screen. When he delivered some of Poseidon’s iconic lines, I got chills. And seeing him and Walker together, you can absolutely believe they are father and son. Not many actors have the sheer power to stand toe-to-toe with one another and convince you they are the manifestations of the sky and the sea, about to tear one another apart. Lance and Toby absolutely have that godly aura."</p>

<h2><em>Percy Jackson and the Olympians </em>Premiere Date</h2>

<p>The Disney+ series is <a href="https://twitter.com/PercySeries/status/1541837341727158277" rel="" target="_blank">currently in production in Vancouver</a>. On Jan. 26, Riordan revealed that production <a href="https://rickriordan.com/2023/01/the-council-is-complete-for-now/" rel="" target="_blank">has done "almost all the photography" for the first season</a>.</p>

<p>"Right now, we are just doing some pick-up scenes to fill in different angles and expand some of the sequences," he added. "I&nbsp;have seen early director’s cuts for episodes 1-6 and all the dailies for episodes seven and eight, so I am now confident in predicting . . . yeah, if you’re a fan of the books or even if you just love a good adventure, you are going to love this show. We still have months and months of post-production work to do, but the team is wrapping up in Vancouver with a sense of pride and accomplishment."</p>

<p>While the streamer has yet to announce a release date, it's likely that fans won't be visiting Camp Half-Blood until 2024.&nbsp;</p>

'Percy Jackson and the Olympians': A Thorough Breakdown of the Disney Plus Series' Stacked Cast

Michael B. Jordan Is Not Dating Model Amber Jepson Despite Report

<p>You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take -- and sometimes, you miss the ones you do! During a recent appearance on <em>The Jennifer Hudson Show</em>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/shemar-moore" rel="" target="_blank">Shemar Moore</a>&nbsp;recalled his&nbsp;<em>Soul Train</em>&nbsp;hosting days where he met many a musical legend and even tried shooting his shot at one. Things didn't quite go as he planned, but it's still a fond memory for the 52-year-old celeb!</p>

<p>"It was amazing because, unlike you, I can't sing to save my life. And <em>Soul Train</em> was off the charts because I don't sing. I'm blessed to act and I love what I do to entertain people,&nbsp;but I got to meet Mariah Carey, Beyoncé when [she was part of] Destiny's Child, Snoop, Patti Labelle, The Temptations..." the actor recalled, listing some of the newcomers and legends he got to meet during his reign hosting the&nbsp;musical variety television show.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Most memorably, Moore recounted his meeting with singer Alicia Keys. "I tried to get at [her], I tried," he shared, laughing. "I've told this story from time to time, but the short version of it is --&nbsp;I saw her at the Soul Train Awards.&nbsp;I was in my dressing room, I looked at the monitor and there she was with her&nbsp;cornrows. And this was when her song, 'Falling,' was first blowing up. She was getting ready to explode. So she's playing the piano, doing her thing, and my favorite instrument is the piano."</p>

I go over there, and I go, 'So hey Alicia, check this out, you're wonderful, and piano&nbsp;is amazing. I don't know what your man situation is like, but if you're ever in L.A. I'd love to take you out for a drink. And her aunt is nearby just snickering at me... And she goes, 'Check this out, son. I respect your flirt game, but my man situation is handled.' I walked away so uncool."</p>

<p>At least it all worked out in the end! Moore and his girlfriend, model&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/shemar-moore-welcomes-first-child-with-jesiree-dizon-what-to-know-about-the-actress-197022" target="_blank">Jesiree Dizon</a>, welcomed a baby girl named Frankie&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/shemar-moore-and-jesiree-dizon-welcome-first-child-together-197932" rel="" target="_blank">earlier this month</a>, the actor's rep confirmed to ET.</p>

<p>Moore announced&nbsp;the news that he and Dizon were expecting a baby <a href="https://www.etonline.com/shemar-moore-is-expecting-his-first-child-with-jesiree-dizon-see-the-baby-announcement-196992" rel="" target="_blank">during a teaser for his appearance</a> on Hudson's show<em>.</em></p>

<p>"I was worried for a while that maybe that ship had sailed kind of thing, and, you know, God had my back and things lined up," he said&nbsp;in the sneak peek clip. "... My life is pretty grand but I know once God does call my name, once I get this experience, I'll be able to go to heaven whole."</p>

<p>Moore took to Instagram to share the first pic of the newborn. In the sweet shot, the <em>S.W.A.T&nbsp;</em>actor lovingly looks down at his daughter as he holds her in his arms.</p>

<p>"I'm a Girl Daddy!!!! HOLY S**T!!! DREAMS COME TRUE!!" Moore continued. "Grandma Marilyn is in heaven puff puff passing, drinking her wine, and doing her happy dance… I LOVE and MISS YOU everyday Mom."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Moore concluded his post by writing, "Frankie is gonna grow up to be a KILLA!!! Watch out World, here comes 'Frankie Muthaf**kin Moore'!!!!"</p>

<p>Frankie is Moore's first child. Dizon, 39, is already a mom to a&nbsp;daughter, Charli, and a son,&nbsp;Kaiden, from previous relationships.&nbsp;</p>

Shemar Moore Reenacts When He Was Turned Down by Alicia Keys 

<p>There's no denying that fans are in for a sexy time when&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/movies/magic-mike" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Magic Mike's Last Dance</em></a>&nbsp;comes out next month, but according to the stars, behind the scenes, things got dangerous a few times!</p>

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/salma-hayek" rel="" target="_blank">Salma Hayek</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/channing-tatum" rel="" target="_blank">Channing Tatum</a>&nbsp;gave ET's Nischelle Turner a sneak peek at the&nbsp;third installment of the popular franchise, and revealed that some of the intricate dance numbers could get a little tricky -- even with professionals&nbsp;at work.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I remember in one rehearsal&nbsp;he nearly dropped me upside down,&nbsp;head hitting the floor," Hayek recalls to her co-star's denials.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It didn't happen, so I don't know what you're talking about," Tatum counters as Hayek recounts their dancing mishaps in which she had to "bend my legs [but] I didn't bend them in rehearsal."</p>

<p>"Yeah, you didn't bend them, but I saved that queen," the&nbsp;<em>Magic Mike</em>&nbsp;franchise star asserts.&nbsp;"The queen's crown didn't hit the ground!"</p>

<p>"But it came this close, and then he reprimanded me," Hayek adds. "We laughed and then he said, 'OK, let's review what we have learned from this experience.'&nbsp;It's hard to remember what you're supposed to do when you're upside down!"</p>

<p>That's probably fair considering the <a href="https://edit.etonline.com/magic-mikes-last-dance-behind-the-scenes-with-channing-tatum-and-salma-hayek-exclusive-197913" rel="" target="_blank">many complicated dance numbers</a> the film teases fans with.&nbsp;<em>Magic Mike's Last Dance</em>&nbsp;follows&nbsp;Tatum's&nbsp;"Magic" Mike Lane, who meets and subsequently shows off his special skillset to a wealthy socialite, played by&nbsp;Hayek. In the trailer&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/magic-mikes-last-dance-trailer-channing-tatum-gives-salma-hayek-a-sexy-strip-dance-194458" rel="" target="_blank">released in November</a>, Mike gives Hayek's unnamed socialite a noteworthy lap dance, which inspires her to ask the dancer to&nbsp;join her in London with an offer he can’t refuse -- the means to create his own bigger-than-life show.</p>

<p>"You came along and gave me this unexpected, magical moment that made me remember who I really was," Hayek says in the trailer as Tatum strips off his shirt and undresses her.&nbsp;"I want every woman that walks into this theater to feel that a woman can have whatever she wants, whenever she wants."</p>

<p>"I know we've seen him dance, I know we all know how great he is. But I think he's going to blow people's minds," Hayek previously said of her co-star.</p>

<p>Speaking of how&nbsp;Tatum's undeniable dance moves have made <em>Magic Mike</em>&nbsp;a beloved franchise, the 42-year-old actor reveals that he hasn't shared the real-life inspiration for the film with his&nbsp;9-year-old daughter, Everly, whom he shares with ex wife,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/jenna-dewan" rel="" target="_blank">Jenna Dewan</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"When she's old enough to watch them, we'll have that conversation," he explains to ET. "There's no version of me not&nbsp;having the conversation of 'Dad didn't just do them in movies,&nbsp;I was an actual stripper,'&nbsp;so I'm not gonna lie to her."</p>

<p>The actor also admits that&nbsp;<em>Magic Mike's Last Dance&nbsp;</em>is most likely the final title in the franchise that&nbsp;inspired the&nbsp;stage production&nbsp;<em>Magic Mike Live</em>, which has seen runs in Las Vegas, the U.K., Australia and Germany in recent years.</p>

<p>While Tatum notes that the story of Magic Mike is "just gonna keep going," he adds,&nbsp;"I can't tell you there's gonna be another [film]."</p>

<p>"I think that at some point he was like, 'Oh, I'm glad this is the last one 'cause I don't have to get into this shape again,'" Hayek says, to which Tatum jokes that he truly doesn't believe he can.</p>

<p>"The day they said wrap, he went crazy! We're going to the wrap party in the cars and he [was in] the other car shoving the pizza [in his mouth]," she recalls. "Like the Cookie Monster, but it was the Pizza Monster. He was so happy."</p>

<p>"I was rubbing it on my face. I was just like, 'Ahhh,'" Tatum confirms with a laugh.</p>

<p><em>Magic Mike's Last Dance</em>&nbsp;hits theaters on Feb. 10.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Luke Combs and Steve Lacy round out the list of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/2023-grammy-nominations-see-the-full-list-194353" rel="" target="_blank">nominated musicians</a> slated to give performances during the Sunday night show, along with first-time nominee Kim Petras, who four-time winner Sam Smith will join. <p>Things will get steamy when&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/movies/magic-mike" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Magic Mike's Last Dance</em></a>&nbsp;drops next month, but not before ET gives fans this exclusive first look behind the scenes of the&nbsp;third installment of the popular franchise!</p>

<p>"It's very physically challenging," star&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/salma-hayek" rel="" target="_blank">Salma Hayek</a>&nbsp;previously told ET <a href="https://www.etonline.com/salma-hayek-dishes-on-her-steamy-lap-dance-from-channing-tatum-in-magic-mike-last-dance-exclusive" rel="" target="_blank">about the upcoming film</a>,&nbsp;motioning all the movements that went into pulling off an&nbsp;arousing scene. "My goodness. You just wait to see. It's just complicated."</p>

<p>Complicated and&nbsp;<em>sultry!&nbsp;Magic Mike's Last Dance</em> follows&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/channing-tatum" rel="" target="_blank">Channing Tatum</a>'s&nbsp;"Magic" Mike Lane, who meets and subsequently shows off his special skillset to a wealthy socialite, played by&nbsp;Hayek. In the trailer <a href="https://www.etonline.com/magic-mikes-last-dance-trailer-channing-tatum-gives-salma-hayek-a-sexy-strip-dance-194458" rel="" target="_blank">released in November</a>, Mike gives Hayek's unnamed socialite a noteworthy lap dance, which inspires her to ask the dancer to&nbsp;join her in London with an offer he can’t refuse -- the means to create his own bigger-than-life show.</p>

<p>"You came along and gave me this unexpected, magical moment that made me remember who I really was," Hayek says in the trailer as Tatum strips off his shirt and undresses her.&nbsp;"I want every woman that walks into this theater to feel that a woman can have whatever she wants, whenever she wants."&nbsp;</p>

<p>If a woman needs inspiration for what exactly she wants, Tatum and a roster of&nbsp;hot new dancers are more than happy to provide some ideas. In ET's exclusive look at the making of the new film, the 42-year-old actor leads a group of dancers through a complicated sequence of moves.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I know we've seen him dance, I know we all know how great he is. But I think he's going to blow people's minds," Hayek says of her co-star.</p>

<p>Prepare to have your minds blown when<em> Magic Mike's Last Dance</em>&nbsp;hits theaters on Feb. 10.&nbsp;</p>
