Santa Claus is back!&nbsp;

Six months ahead of the winter holidays, Disney+ unveiled its first look at the&nbsp;upcoming series,&nbsp;The Santa Clauses, starring <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/tim-allen">Tim Allen</a> back in his beloved role as Scott Calvin.&nbsp;"Enjoy a first look at the #DisneyPlus Original series #TheSantaClauses in celebration of #HalfwayToTheHolidays," a tweet read on Thursday. In the snap, fans can see Allen and his returning co-star&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/elizabeth-mitchell" target="_blank">Elizabeth Mitchell</a>, who is reprising&nbsp;her role as Carol/Mrs. Claus.&nbsp;

Mitchell joined the holiday franchise in the 2002 sequel The Santa Clause 2, which saw Allen's St. Nick needing to find himself a Mrs. to keep his Santa role. She also appeared in the third film, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, which came out in 2006. The original film, in which fans first saw Allen put on the red suit,&nbsp;was released in 1994.

The new series, which will also feature <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kal-penn">Kal Penn</a>,&nbsp;will follow Scott as he gets ready to celebrate his 65th birthday and realizes that he can’t be Santa forever. "He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole," per the show's synopsis.

Allen will also serve as an executive producer alongside Jack Burditt, who is also the showrunner. Richard Baker and Rick Messina are also on board as executive producers.

Mitchell recently starred in Netflix's&nbsp;First Kill&nbsp;and&nbsp;appeared in&nbsp;Queen Bees&nbsp;along with Ellen Burstyn, James Caan and Ann-Margret.

The actress, whose credits include&nbsp;Lost, Once Upon a Time and Outer Banks, told ET in 2019 that she would do a Santa Clause reboot "in a heartbeat."

"We all need to believe in a little bit of magic," she told ET. "And I think that it brings that childlike sense of play to you as an adult that we're hungry for."

"Of course [I would do a reboot]," she continued. "Those movies were a joy to make. Making people happy, I mean, what a gift."

See Tim Allen in First Look of Disney Plus Series 'The Santa Clauses'

Sting made&nbsp;his <a href="https://www.etonline.com/event/premio-lo-nuestro" target="_blank">Premio Lo Nuestro</a> debut.

The iconic rock star premiered his&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/sting-to-perform-new-spanish-single-por-su-amor-at-2022-premio-lo-nuestro-179253" target="_blank">new Spanish song, "Por Su Amor,"</a>&nbsp;during the&nbsp;34th edition of the awards show in Miami, Florida Thursday night.

Surrounded by a host of dimly&nbsp;lit candles, Sting, accompanied by just his guitar, sat solo on a stage outside of the venue,&nbsp;as he performed the melodic tune to a captivated, intimate audience.

"Por Su Amor" is the Spanish-language adaptation of his song, "For Her Love," off his latest album, The Bridge.

"Por Su Amor" was inspired by the "breathtaking Baja, California, vistas and expansive blue of the Gulf of California" and recorded in Cabo San Lucas, México, per the press release.

ET spoke with Sting in November about the inspiration for his LP and why he chose that name. "I think we're all looking for a bridge to the future that is somewhere safe, somewhere happy, and somewhere less anxious," <a href="https://www.etonline.com/sting-reveals-advice-he-received-from-lady-gaga-and-lionel-richie-ahead-of-his-vegas-residency" target="_blank">he shared.</a> "I'm looking for that, everyone I know is looking for that, so the album deals with those issues in transition from one world to another one place, one state of mind."

This isn't the first time the 70-year-old artist has sung&nbsp;in Spanish. Sting has a history of blending languages, which includes songs on his 1987 EP, Nada Como el Sol, that includes songs performed in Spanish and Portuguese.

Back in 2020, Sting collaborated with Ricky Martin on the Puerto Rican singer's EP,&nbsp;Pausa, singing the song "Simple." At the time, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/ricky-martin-on-how-his-family-helped-him-create-new-surprise-ep-while-in-quarantine-exclusive" target="_blank">Martin told ET</a> it was a "gorgeous" track and working with the Police frontman was a "dream accomplished."

Sting joined&nbsp;the list of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/2022-premio-lo-nuestro-performers-sebastian-yatra-cnco-natti-natasha-and-more-to-take-the-stage" target="_blank">previously announced performers</a>&nbsp;including&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/laura-pausini-performing-at-2022-premio-lo-nuestro-teases-what-to-expect-exclusive-179045" target="_blank">Laura Pausini</a>, Ángela Aguilar, Christian Nodal, CNCO, Gente de Zona, Jay Wheeler, Luis Fonsi, Natti Natasha, Olga Tañón, Prince Royce, Sebastián Yatra and Wisin y Yandel, among others.

<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/camilo" target="_blank">Camilo</a>, Christian Nodal and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/j-balvin" target="_blank">J Balvin</a> lead the nominations list with 10 each, with Bad Bunny taking home top honors, and a total of six awards Thursday.

Sting Performs Spanish Single 'Por Su Amor' at 2022 Premio Lo Nuestro

The <a href="https://www.etonline.com/event/premio-lo-nuestro" target="_blank">2022 Premio Lo Nuestro</a> awards were a night to remember.

The annual Latin music awards ceremony was held at FTX Arena in Miami, Florida, on Thursday. Hosted by Alejandra Espinoza, David Bisbal, Yuri and Gabriel Soto, stars took the stage to accept their awards, make passionate speeches and entertain the audience with their stellar performances.

This year's theme was "Vive El Momento" (Live the Moment), which was a joyful and optimistic celebration of today, the present.

A Heartwarming Vicente Fernández Tribute 

The late Mexican icon, who <a href="https://www.etonline.com/vicente-fernandez-beloved-mexican-music-icon-dead-at-81-176458" target="_blank">died on Dec. 12</a>, was honored at the top of the show with an emotional tribute. Ángela Aguilar, Camilo, Christian Nodal, David Bisbal and Grupo Firme performed iconic songs by El Rey de la Música Ranchera.

The tribute was produced by Pepe Aguilar and David Cabrera&nbsp;and introduced by Maluma. The Colombian singer and Marry Me star opened the tribute saying in Spanish, "Mariachi is a genre I grew up with, a genre I learned to love and value. Vicente Fernández. Vicente Fernández continues to symbolize the best of that genre and an entire country. What better way to start the evening than by showing him the love and admiration that the new generations have for this legend whose eternal voice and songs will resonate forever."

As Maluma's dedication ended, the camera panned to screen with a quote by the late singer -- "As long as you don't stop clapping, I won't stop singing."

Fernández was posthumously nominated for two awards -- Album of the Year/Mexican Regional (A Mis 80's) and Mariachi/Ranchera Song of the Year ("Ya No Insistas Corazón"). Grupo Firme, the pride of Tijuana, took home the Album of the Year in that category.

Anitta Brought the Fun

The <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/anitta" target="_blank">Brazilian superstar</a> took the stage with urban star Justin Quiles for a sultry, remixed version of “Envolver."

She also performed her song, "No Chão Novinha,"&nbsp;for the first time on TV.

Natti Natasha Dominates the Stage

The singer performed with urban artists Chimbala and El Alfa during the ceremony and slayed with "Wow BB."

Natasha also killed it with her fashion game, donning knee-high black leather boots to complement her cowgirl outfit.&nbsp;

CNCO Showed Off Their Dance Moves

The four singers gave a sizzling rendition of their hit, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/cnco-usher-in-new-era-and-sound-with-party-humo-y-alcohol-music-video-watch-177795" target="_blank">"Party, Humo y Alcohol,"</a> during the awards ceremony.&nbsp;CNCO came out on top at this year's awards show, taking home trophies for Pop Song of the Year for "Tan Enamorados," Pop Group or Duo of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for Deja Vu.

Rubio rocked out to her classic track, "Lo Hare Por Ti,"&nbsp;which saw her belting out the song on a golden&nbsp;platform, as a band played beneath her.

It was a Maluma Celebration

The global star received the Ídolo Global award for his highly successful career with sold-out concert&nbsp;tours throughout the world, top chart positioning on global radio lists, multiplatinum and diamond records and more.

The Marry Me star also took the stage to perform his biggest hits. He rode shotgun on&nbsp;the back of a dirt bike onto the stage and belted out his hit track "Tetema Remix II." Following that performance, he transitioned to his ballad "Cositas de la USA" as a bevy dancers joined him.

Maluma finished his deft performance with a little help from Kaplay y Miky as they belted out "L.N.E.M. (GATA). Shortly after, Maluma was handed his&nbsp;Ídolo Global award and gave a shout out to every genre.

El dúo dinamico returned to Premio Lo Nuestro for the world premiere of "No Se Olvida." The Puerto Rican reggeaton duo donned a black and white getup -- with Wisin going in full black and Yandel in all white. The crowd soaked up the performance that had been highly anticipated, but everyone damn near lost their minds when&nbsp;el dúo dinamico took things way back and performed their 2008 club banger, "Sexy Movimiento."

Bad Bunny Takes Home Top Honors

Bad Bunny was named the Artista Premio Lo Nuestro Del Año (Artist of the Year) at the annual awards show. Although he&nbsp;was not there to receive the honor, he was the&nbsp;night's biggest winner, taking home six awards across several&nbsp;categories, including, Album of the Year and Urban Male Artist of the Year.

Premio Lo Nuestro 2022: The Best Performances and Biggest Moments of the Night

And the 2022 <a href="https://www.etonline.com/event/premio-lo-nuestro" target="_blank">Premio Lo Nuestro</a> winners are...

Live from FTX Arena in Miami, the biggest Latin stars reunited on Thursday to celebrate another spectacular year of music. <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/camilo" target="_blank">Camilo</a>, Christian Nodal and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/j-balvin" target="_blank">J Balvin</a> lead the nominations list with 10 each, followed by <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/bad-bunny" target="_blank">Bad Bunny</a> and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/karol-g" target="_blank">Karol G</a> with nine. All artists came out triumphant in various categories.

The annual celebration included mega-performances and sizzling fashion. Paulina Rubio was also honored with the Premio a la Trayectoria (Trajectory Award) for her three-decade&nbsp;career in the music industry. Maluma recieved the Ídolo Global award.
