The 43-year-old actress shared the good news that she no longer has lung cancer.

After going public with the news of her lung cancer diagnosis, actress Kate Micucci is now sharing that she is cancer-free.

The 43-year-old actress, who portrayed Lucy on CBS' The Big Bang Theory, took to TikTok over the weekend to share that she had a successful surgery last week.

"I have great news which is that I am cancer free," she shared in one clip. "The surgery last week went great. All the reports came back that it worked. I don't need to do any other treatment."

She also touched on the "surreal" experience of watching her story play out on Good Morning America

"I had surgery last week. Thanks to early detection and incredible doctors, I am now cancer free!" Micucci wrote on TikTok.

She also shared a clip from Good Morning America, highlighting her case as a young, healthy, non-smoker diagnosed with lung cancer.

Micucci added that she was "very, very lucky to catch it early," and thanked GMA correspondent Will Reeves for spreading awareness.

Micucci first announced the news that she had lung cancer earlier this month, noting that she has never smoked a cigarette in her life.

"It was a surprise, but also, I guess it happens," she said in the TikTok from her hospital bed.

She noted at the time that post-surgery "they got it all out," but that she still had a few weeks of recovery time.

The actress and artist shared that she's excited to spend the holidays with her almost 4-year-old son.

"I'm excited to hang with my little boy for Christmas," Micucci said, before sharing a sweet kiss with her son.
