Anderson Cooper has tested positive for COVID-19. The CNN anchor took to his Instagram Story Monday night to share the news.

"Just tested positive for COVID," Cooper wrote alongside a photo of him at home, in bed. "Thankfully, the kids are negative. Hope to get back to work soon."

Cooper did not share how he was feeling or if he was experiencing any symptoms, and he did not say in his post, whether or not he intended to work remotely from home while he recovers.

Cooper is the latest in a long line of celebrities to reveal their positive COVID-19 status. On Monday, Kelsea Ballerini, who was set to co-host the 2022 CMT Music Awards, revealed that she too tested positive for coronavirus, forcing her to perform her hosting duties from home.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick also tested positive for the virus last week. Thursday's performance of their Broadway show, Plaza Suite, was cancelled as a result.

Other celebrities who have tested positive for COVID-19 in recent weeks include Daniel Craig, Miley Cyrus, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hillary Clinton and more.
