’13 Reasons Why’ Debuts Season 2 Trailer – Watch

Netflix

Netflix treated fans to a sneak peek of season two ahead of the show's release on May 18.

Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming second season of 13 Reasons Why.

The series, executive produced by Selena Gomez, returns on May 18 and will pick up following the death of Hannah Baker (Katherine Langford) and explore how Jessica (Alisha Boe), Clay (Dylan Minnette) and others get over the loss.

The clip opens with Clay walking the halls of Liberty High and passing Hannah’s locker, which is covered in notes and flowers as a memorial.

He then finds a mysterious note on the back of a Polaroid that reads, “Hannah wasn’t the only one.”

The dramatic two-minute trailer concludes with an emotional Clay hell-bent on getting justice for Hannah’s death.

“I can’t count on anyone else anymore,” he says. “I have to do this myself. No one’s going to get justice for her.”

Langford makes an appearance as a ghost haunting Clay and season two will also address what happened to Alex (Miles Heizer).

To mark the show’s return, a new set of videos featuring the cast discussing bullying, sexual assault and drug abuse will be posted to 13ReasonsWhy.info to help young people experiencing such struggles.
